Blaze Pizza

Went on A Friday night at 6:30pm, of course it was busy. Pizza was yummy as always. The girl cutting and handing everyone their food seemed overwhelmed and a bit confused and the guy at the register with long hair and glasses pulled out his phone between every customer and gave that other girl attitude when she asked him to help her. I felt bad for her. Very long wait, watched my pizza be pulled out of the oven and sat there for awhile(and have other pizzas stacked on top of mine) while the girl organized everything. It was cold by the time it got to me, but super tasty.

I was visiting from out of state for a Drs appointment and noticed this pizza place. I love wood fired pizza and originally being from Germany, I love thin Europe style pizzas. I ordered my own concoction with mushrooms pepperoni and banana peppers. This was mid afternoon so there were only a few customers. They got to working on it right away and I was served within 10 minutes. The wait wasn’t long at all. They were mostly college age workers. They seemed efficient and friendly. The pizza was really delicious! The sauce had a yummy taste and the crust was perfect. I am definitely stopping there again on my next appointment! It cost about $15. Totally affordable.

The pizza is good, but my rating is more so for the employees. I met my brother here for lunch so we could catch up. He’s been having some stomach issues, so he’s on a strict diet. They didn’t have the pizza he wanted on the menu in the restaurant, but it was on their online menu, so he inquired about it. They were able to get something figured out and made him a delicious pizza. Not once did they seem annoyed or rude and they happily helped him get the pizza he wanted. Their customer service deserves a 5 star review. I ordered the Green Stripe pizza and ate every last bite! The crust is thin, but that’s what I wanted. Since it was thin, I didn’t feel too bad about eating the entire thing :) I also felt like it didn’t sit heavy in my stomach which was nice. I would come here again for some light pizza. I’d probably go during their slow hours (we dined around 2:30).

We’ve had this place on our list to try for a few years. So disappointed we didn’t try it sooner! We tried the hot link and meat eater pizzas as well as the pesto breadsticks. Staff was incredibly friendly and fast, place was relatively clean considering it was mid lunch rush, and the food was delicious. We’re not super fans of pesto but it was a delicious addition to cheese sticks.

The staff is amazing here they are helpful in explaining all of the options of toppings and will really let you make any pizza you want! I made a keto crust with puesto sauce goat cheese motzarella two type of sausage 2 type of olives and fresh basil leaves. It all gets fire cooked quickly and you have an amazing personal pizza or a pizza to share on a date but let's be honest you both will want your own!
