Went here for dinner on 5/6 at 4;30. Very clean nice place. I ordered the meatloaf, with mashed potatoes. The only veg they had was corn on the cob. Dinner came with a dinner roll. They were out of rolls . I asked for rye bread and butter. they forgot the butter. I had hot tea, Joe our server gave me hot water and forgot the teabag. The food was good but Joe not so much. Did not offer a refill on coffee tea. forgot the dinner roll with the meal ,also no butter when i asked for bread and butter. We will go back because the food is good. Joe needs some help

Talk about nostalgia, this place has it. Between the paintings, the booths and the music playing on the radio, you would swear you were back in the 50’s oh and yes the food is really good. They have a big breakfast and lunch menu and I have had both here. A lot of good food at a great price plus the staff is very attentive. A great NJ diner.

Had lunch there today & loved it! Food was great & our waitress was wonderful, quick & pleasant. Nice atmosphere too. Would def go back there although it can be hard navigating your way to the parking lot, depending which direction you are coming from but, worth the effort!

They accommodated my handicapped son very quickly. One of our table had her first Pizza burger and loved it.

Delicious food. 2.50 for a tiny mug of bitter coffee was a bit much but everything else made up for it. BLT was out of this world (fresh lettuce & tomatoes!). Service was very friendly. We will be back

Another visit, but it's only Kit and me for lunch on Sunday, November 28, 2021 It's been a while and this visit represents the 3rd location of a Family Owned and operated business. Today's meals were very delicious. Kit had the half seafood sandwich with crock of onion soup. I had the Three Meats Club sandwich, crock of onion soup and french fries. Ordered the Texas Tater Tots for an appetizer, since it came topped with cheese, bacon and jalapeno. Kit requested jalapenos be on the side since they are not her favorite. JB's will be building a Fourth location on Route 537 near Great Adventure with a proposed opening sometime next year. 3 years ago, having Lunch wit Kit and Caitlin after Church. All of our choices were delicious.
