Waffle House

Again always love a good waffle house. Service was great. What was better than everything else was that a senior manager arrived while we were there. He spoke to everyone and began giving tasks to make the restaurant look better, but he didn't just tell them what to do, he started cleaning and washing the windows. A sign of true leadership. Will definitely be back.

Nice employees who interacted well with the customers. I saw some posts that some people felt the staff was racist but I saw nothing of that. The staff was diverse and interact well together as well as with the customers who were racially diverse. My waitress helped me pick out the best way price wise for what I wanted to eat and the food was given to me in a timely manner. The atmosphere was pleasant.

It's a Waffle House, so the bar isn't very high. I like the food at Waffle House in general, which is why I'm usually happy to find one. But the service at this location is terrible. The first time I went in, I was one of 6 or 7 customers. I sat at the counter and waited for 5 minutes before anyone even acknowledged me and asked what I wanted to drink. The waitress then got my order mixed up and I had to repeat it to her two more times. The other times I went in, the service was a little better, but not by much. The food's good, but the service really needs work.

They deserve this rating because the food is always good. I went on Memorial Day and had a great experience. The line was out the door. It didn't take long to be seated. Even as busy as they were, our waitress was very attentive. It was almost like there was no one else at the restaurant, even though they were packed.

First time I have ever felt uncomfortable in a Waffle House. One staff member was berating another (less experienced) staff member. They started to raise their voices at each other, but thankfully things didn't progress much further while I was there. I looked around and didn't see a manager in sight and felt several other tables were uncomfortable by the interaction as well. I gave a 2 star rating because the food was still pretty good. That said, no plans to visit again.

The waitress was nice enough, but preferred to talk instead of serve. Frequently, she forgot our food and didn't even bring my partner's coffee to him until the meal was over. The food was atrocious—everything was cold upon arrival and the mushrooms in our hash browns tasted sour. Being from the south, Waffle House is a staple to me, and the fact that they performed so badly—especially when we had guests in from out of town (one of which had never had Waffle House food before), was especially embarrassing.
