Mariscos El Pacifico Fallbrook

A mexican friend of mine suggested I try this local place that for some reason I had not heard of before. She assured me it is authentic and not "White Mexican." She was right. I love it. It's not a chain or typical California style mexican restaurant. The decor is festive and clean. Lots of patio as well as indoor space. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Everyone seemed to be enjoying the food and ambiance. Nice vibe all the way around. I had the ceviche cocktail which was fresh and loaded with the extra octopus that I requested. Excellent and large portions. I will go back soon, try something new and supplement this review.

The food and drinks were very good. I ordered a Cadillac margarita and a combination plate with a chicken taco and an enchilada. I'm not sure if our waitress was super busy because they were understaffed, but it took a minute to get refills. I'm glad to see there is a new business in this location. It needs a little more decor to give it more of an environment.

It had been 30 years since we had been here. Even though the name had changed recently from La Casita, we found the sam ed great taste. I had tostadas la harina and my husband had the burrito especial. We had guacamole with our chips which was very rich and creamy. This is some of the best Mexican food we have found. Love love it!
