New England Pizza

So I want to startout by saying, my hubby and I had A LOT of fun reading the controversial reviews on here while waiting for this food.... We called and ordered 2 BLT subs with added mayo and pickles. Bacon. Lettuce. Tomato.... 💁‍♀️ nope! The bacon was CRISPY. Very good bacon. The problem lies in the fact that there was NO tomato or lettuce AND the delivery driver was smoking cigarettes in the car with my food and didn't even get out to deliver it... my neighborhood is iffy, but dang, that's rough.

Placed a pickup order and when I arrived NOT ONE employee was wearing a mask. Not the person at the counter, not the person at the cash register, not the person who I can only assume was the delivery person as he walked in from outside and directly into the back, and certainly not a single employee in the kitchen area. All handling food with NO gloves and not a mask in sight. I was absolutely appalled. I didn’t want to create a scene so I took my order, but the entire meal got thrown away. I will NEVER order from here again and will do business with establishments who follow Department of Public Health guidelines.

Ordered from here 2 days ago with my wife, I gave my debit card info over the phone and was told my order total was $27 and change, when the delivery driver arrived he handed me my pizza but didn't hand me the receipt where you would typically state how much you would like to tip, the new total and your signature. I didn't realize it until after he had left and actually felt bad when I realized I didn't tip him. Today I checked my bank account and realized they had charged me $37 and change, ($10 more than I had authorized) I called the store and they said someone would call me back. I later received a phone call from the owner, he said he had the receipt in front of him and that "I had written down a $10 tip and signed it" to which I told him I absolutely did NOT do that which means his delivery driver intentionally didn't hand me the receipt, tiped himself $10 and FORGED MY SIGNATURE. The owner did not care what I had to say about the delivery driver, when I said the driver should be reprimanded, he said he only cared about getting me my $10 back and "is sure the driver did it on accident" even though I told him I absolutely did NOT tip $10 because I never was handed the receipt and I did NOT sign it. The owner also tried to give me a $10 in store credit towards my next purchase and I had to be adament that I wanted the money put back on my debit card because I will never order from here again and their store credit is worthless to me. I do not recommend this place whatsoever. I do not believe he will fire that delivery driver and I also feel like I should have been refunded the entire amount and not just my $10 considering his driver FORGED MY SIGNATURE. I don't care how good your food is if you're okay with your workers committing crimes by stealing money and forging signatures.
