The lazy days of summer have returned! A favorite stop in Fairport Harbor is the Sunset Harbor Bar & Grill. The food and service are always great! The Creole Shrimp and the chowder are our favorites! Lunch on the deck is a beautiful way to spend the afternoon.

Came here with a party of 5. Very nice server. Two entrees that came with fries were barely even warm. My grandpa never got the side salad that he ordered. Calamari fries were very good!! Our server was very attentive to refilling beverages. Great view of the lake!!
Went on a Saturday around 5 PM. Minimal wait for an outdoor table. Service was good, polite staff. Just not enough staff to go around. Ordered a rare burger. Got a medium well burger that was very dry. Waffle fries were good. Beer was cold. Scenery is beautiful. I will go again, perhaps on a weekda

Had a great lunch there on Sunday, the grilled walleye and the fried walleye, very good. Beautiful view, literally right on the lake. Kind of hard to get to, and they close up for the season in early October. Took away a star because their bottled beer and draft beer selections were weak.
This restaurant is a bit out of the way, but worth visiting if you are in the area near sunset. Views of the sun setting over the lake are amazing! The food is good, but not spectacular. Service is friendly, but the staff can get overwhelmed at times.

The view doesn't get much better than this. And they have the food and service to back it up. Expect to pay about $20 for a lake fish entree. Sitting on the pier at sunset is a must. The place is casual, and the vibe is relaxed.
After reading some of the reviews, we had low expectations on the food. However, that was not the case. We thought the food was very good. The price was pretty average for the area and the view was spectacular. The service was good. Really looking forward to going back.
Being on a pier on the lake is gorgeous and going at sunset is fantastic, the food is solid I have definitely had better but I wasn't going for a five star meal but rather a five star view. I will say their waffle fries are very well made.
The off-shore Sammie was a banger! The view/location is phenomenal. The waitstaff were great, despite the kitchen almost seeming to be in the weeds. It was worth the 45 min wait time for a table cause we could still order beers. I'll return someday!
Food was good and atmosphere was great. Drink did not come as expected and waitress that took over for our original one was snobby. Wish we would have had the one we started out with, which was great.
