The food was absolutely wonderful. I had the Turkey avocado melt (I asked for the tofu turkey but you can get it either way) with a side salad along with humus with pita. It tasted amazing and the service was so nice. I also tried their black cherry iced herbal tea which was delicious. The food is healthy, filling, and will not disappoint.
This place was absolutely delicious!! I ordered the tofu jerk wrap with tabouli and baba gaboush. My fiance got an open faced turkey and mozzarella melt with coleslaw and baba gaboush. I am eating a plant based diet and this place was perfect. If you haven’t tried them and whether you’re vegan or not, the food is AMAZING! We will definitely be back.
Such a cute cafe 🌻 stopped to get lunch on our way home to Mississippi. My baby girl enjoyed her first kids meal. Vegan chz pizza. We don’t have vegan restaurants in ms so I’m glad she got to try it, she loved it! All the food was delicious!
It was so refreshing to find somewhere that served fresh organic, vegetarian/vegan friendly options! I really enjoyed my falafel wrap, with tabuleh side, and baba ganuesh!
Great atmosphere, good food! Lots of vegan options. The staff was super kind. Clean area. We sat outside and I ate a vegan turkey sandwich and it was delicious!
Absolutely wonderful cafe and lunch spot in Fairhope! So excited that they had so many vegan options EVERYTHING we had was wonderful. From the price, presentation to taste this place has everything nailed perfectly.
The flavors were incredible and just popped in your mouth. We had Thai Peanut Salad with the Vegan Apple Spice Cake, Turkey Melt with avocado, Falafel Wrap (so yummy) and teas. Check out the photos below.
Set in the middle of this mall it’s so unassuming and is so nice and welcoming.Staff were COVIDSAFE, people were #maskup and tables appropriate distance. They also had takeout available and from the phone ringing off the hook, I’m pretty sure the locals know how special this place is too.
Pros:
The food was delicious! I had to ask the waitress what one of the tasty fruits was...a gooseberry! It looked like an orange tomato.
My husband and I split the eggs benedict and the cranberry apple sandwich. I got the grits, he got the potatoes. We enjoyed everything.
The atmosphere was really nice. I've never been in a place where all the customers seemed so happy, calm, and connected with the people they came to dine with. It was lovely. The staff was also friendly.
Cons:
We looked at the menu ahead of time because we're from out of town and wanted to make the stop faster. We decided to try the ginger stir fry, but because we went on Sunday, it wasn't an option on the menu for that day.
The price was a little high. $13 for the plate of food which had pretty small portions. Not that much of a complaint since the food and service was good, but I know those prices could be a shock to some people.
The sign for the place wasn't super clear. Not a big deal, but I was literally staring right at the sign above the building trying to read it from a distance. The f and l looked like a capital A because of how close together they were and the font.
Another small thing was the bathroom. So many other details were very thought out and well-done. I was kind of excited to go to the bathroom because I've seen so many restaurants like that have super cute bathrooms. Some even have funny/clever signs on the wall. This one was kind of dingy or at least underwhelming. It is a one-person bathroom for both men & women. But it served the purpose!
Overall, I'd definitely go back and would recommend it!
Sunday brunch has a different menu than the rest of the week, and that surprised us at first. However what we got was delicious, and well executed. The best eggs Benedict I've has in years. The portions are smaller than average but the flavor and execution is superb. I'd stop by again if in town.
