Ohana Hawaiian Bbq

I had planned this meal for 2 days. I ordered a combination plate with extra mac salad..about $15 without a drink. Service was quick and friendly..helped me figure out what I wanted and the best way to get it. It was enough for my lunch and dinner. The only negative was the whole piece of beef was hecka tough/chewy. The chicken was moist and delicious. I will be back

My husband are both from Hawaii and visit Ohana's at least once a week. Owner and staff are always very friendly. If you're pressed for time, you can order by phone. Favorites are fried saimin(noodles) with beef or chicken-both are great, even better than the real Hawaiian style! Mochiko chicken special on Thursdays, chicken katsu, and their hamburger steak plate. Be prepared, portions are huge. *pro tip, add ketchup to the katsu sauce and ask for an extra cup so you can mix it in.. Goes great with fries too👍👍 The picture shown is the Mochiko chicken plate special-we couldn't wait til we got home to eat it!

I love Hawaiian bbq! I am always looking for a good place. I stopped by to get some bbq chicken. I was really disappointed! The chicken was a large portion, 3-4 whole thighs. My complaints are as follows 1. Skin was left on the thigh and was not crispy . Just a fatty soft piece of skin. I pulled it off and proceeded. 2. Cut up chicken would be nice. 3. The sauce was watered down. It just ran through the rice onto the plate. Flavor was watered down too! 3. Bed of cabbage raw. What a waste I just threw it away.
