If I hadn’t already driven away I would’ve returned this turkey sandwich. The first thing I noticed was the turkey looked suspicious; upon further inspection I smelled it and it made me gag. Also I paid extra for avocado and the photo shown is the extent of the avocado I received a 1/4 tsp. Last, the sandwich was to include onion and there was no onion in sight.

Went yesterday, not friendly staff at all, ordered two everything bagel BLT and everything bagel nova lox, all three barely had any “everything” on them. During the order process the cashier was taking my order and as I finished my order, she then just turned from me and started talking to the staff fixing sandwiches, no biggie, but I had to start over. I watched her do this to everyone, very cold order system. After sandwiches were ready I said thank you to the lady who prepared them, no response. The bagels were over toasted (I didn’t ask for toasted), all the seasoning was black or dark brown. The owner should just go work there all day themselves to train the staff. Regardless, not going back after I’ve read the reviews. Used to be a nice place. Mouse in one review???!!??? That’s disgusting

The Fairfax location has an obvious problem with their staff which translates into their poor service and professionalism towards guests (beginning with management down to the rest of their team). There’s no care towards their clients, the food being prepared/sold, nor towards cleanliness. It’s sticky filthy. They have an issue with several pests. Summer is roach season for this location and now that it is cooler rodents find a home here. Negative five starts (-5)!

Exceptionally poor experience. The 1 individual preparing food prioritized web orders over in-person orders, resulting in a 20+ min wait for 4 bagels. When we did receive the food, one of the bagels was cut incorrectly, and the sandwiches were poorly prepared, dry, and barely toasted. Management and process needs a lot of work. Don’t recommend.

Terrible is an understatement. I eat at an Einstein’s in San Diego and there has been no loss in speed, quality or service with the pandemic. This place is the opposite. Three people in the store and service was beyond slow. Staff was inattentive and ignored customers. The bagels were cold, not even remotely toasted and shockingly small. This place is so bad that I will not return. A pandemic is not an excuse for such a drop in quality.

Mid bagels at best. Save your time and money and go to Main Street Bagel instead. I paid $25 for two bagels and two coffees. The everything bagel I got had almost no toppings on it, it was like they had all just fallen off and left a mostly plain bagel behind. And the coffee is GROSS I asked for a caramel cream cold brew and this drink tastes like it came from a garbage disposal. Don’t go here honestly it just isn’t good anymore

Fantastic bagels, wide variety many cream cheese flavors. They will slice them if you ask. The best way to buy is 6. Friendly staff. Always busy but usually just a short wait for service. Plenty of parking. Unfortunately they don't open until 6 am.

I hate to leave such bad reviews anywhere but this place was shockingly unclean and unkempt. We hadn’t eaten all day so we had the food we got—the bagels are doughy or hard/chewy/stale and not good—and I instantly regretted eating my food and got rid of a lot of it and my drink too because I just felt worried it wasn’t safe. The person making our drinks was talking directly over the drinks as she was making them without a mask or anything and the blender machine looked like it hadn’t been dumped and washed in ages. I had bagels at another Einstein recently that also weren’t great so I feel like I’m general the recipe may have gone downhill, but this particular store shocked me a bit :/
