I had the BLT grilled cheese and it was AMAZING! The staff is always friendly and the restaurant is clean. If they're busy, they hurry to clean off the tables and get you seated as quickly as possible.
Fresh ingredients & homemade recipes make this an awesome hometown hotspot! Not to mention the GIGANTIC cinnamon rolls and ALL the history in this building make it a perfect stop for locals & travelers alike!
The ambiance, decor, waitstaff and food is amazing. Both breakfast and lunch were yummy and spot on. Very reasonable, good portions, and home cooking. And then you add in the bakery items and desserts, not enough words to describe how good they were. We will be back again and again...... So well
Excellent service. The building tells the story of all the owners. It’s a Midwest must do. The sandwich and soup were truly delicious and tasted of homemade love. Stop by pop in for a spell or grab it to go. You will not be disappointed.
A really quaint place with great food for an affordable price. Small touches really make the food better, like homemade lemonade and using fresh (not canned) pineapple.
The selection of glass bottle sodas is fun, too.
And of course you have to try a dessert from the connected bakery.

Awesome restaurant in the town of fairbury illinois....friendly wonderful staff....home made food from scratch.....go next door to the bakery.....huge cinnamon rolls.....well worth the drive
