Review Tik's Thai Express - Fairborn

The food was basically good. I asked for Thai hot it was at the lower end of what I call Thia hot level. I ordered Green Curry. My only issue is that it had a sweet honey like after taste. No what I expected. It was alright. It drove my blood sugar way higher than normal. I also had a cup of soup... it was good. I really wasn't for me. So this sweetness after taste is why I rated it a three.

Great place to go eat. Clean restaurant, good service and have always enjoyed the food selection and taste. This is one of our favorite local Thai stops.

Service was friendly and fast. The chicken fried rice was delicious. The pad thai was not too sweet. Some places make the pad thai too sweet for my liking. Theirs was very good. It was missing the wedge of lime I'm used to though. I highly recommend and will visit again.

First time visiting! We had dinner here three days ago. What we had were Drunken Man Noodles (spicy level 2), Panang Curry with chicken (spicy level 3), Thai Iced tea and Love Egg rolls. I personally like spicy food, so next time going to try their spicy level 4 for my curry. 🔥🔥 But my husband who doesn't eat spicy food as much as I do said his Drunken Man Noodles was a little bit spicy, still delicious though.😋 We enjoyed the food, the service was prompt. Both of their male and female servers were nice, too. We will come again.

LarderRoom...Tik's Thai Thursday! Chicken Pad Thai in all its glory! Comes with peanuts, eggs & all the spice you want. I went 3 (0-4). Should have gone 4. Delicious food and a cute spot! You will enjoy!

It was delicious! The vegetarian options are great and so was the bourbon chicken.

THE FOOD WAS AMAZING! I've been to 2 Thai restaurants in my life AND I LOVE RICE! this place has wonderful aesthetic for done in, nice people, and the food... Well I gobbled it up in like 2 seconds . Go here if you want an amazing meal made by amazing people.

Way too expensive for what you get! Too salty sometimes. I've been there 3 times and every time I'm disappointed

The foods not gross but lacks flavour. The deep fried tilapia is delicious though.

When Tik's first opened and even the year or so after opening, it was a great place. Food was cheap, fast, and they had great Pad Thai. I mean where else could you get amazing Pad Thai for $8 at dinner? My wife and I frequented this place at least twice a month for over a year and never had any complaints. Then one day they decide to raise to price to $10. I wasn't thrilled with the price increase but I decided to keep supporting them for a couple more times until I realized that the portion size is slightly smaller and the quality isn't what it used to be. The noodles seem drier and just not as much flavor as it was in the past. So why did they increase the prices by $2? I can see paying a little more and getting the same great taste and quality but come on. I'm done with them and will be going to the other, much better Thai restaurant in Beavercreek. You all know which one I'm referring to...

Very good Thai food and fast! Definitely recommend for dine in or carry out.

Still Talkin'.... My friends and I went to Tik's about 2 years ago on a whim and we're still talking about the food. We try to met up there whenever we're in town and we always order our favorites (mine is the Bourbon Chicken and the Thai Iced Tea) and end up eating off each others plates!

Chicken Pad Thai and Thai Ice Tea. This place is awesome. The food is outstanding and the portions are just right. Not to big and not to small. The Pad Thai is very good but not spicy enough. I ordered a 2 out of 6 on the hotness scale. Next time I will definitely get at least a 4. The Thai Ice Tea was very good also, but they don't add the tapioca pearls. Overall, this meal cost me $14 with tip which is outstanding in my book.

I love the chicken satay and Pad Thai. My husband loves the curry. Start with zero spice to figure out how much you can take. He likes spicy food and only goes with a level one. The Thai tea is very sweet and tasty, too. The hardest part is deciding what to get.

I really like their lunch special.... 7 bucks for a little bit of 3 different dishes. Great deal and super tasty.

LOVED IT. I came in from out of town to visit my son in college at Wright State...we decide to try something new and to our surprise we loved it. The owner helped with our choices since we had no idea what to order. Overall the people were friendly and they will definitly get my business when im down there again. :)

Great Food!!!!!!!!!!!!. Love this place I go about two times a day once for the lunch specail where you can buy a three entree dish for $6.95. The owner is very polite always comes to talk and ask how the food is. Tik's Thai is a very comfortable place to just sit and get away. I also go in for dinner to order Drunkman Chicken which never seems to disappoint. All i can say is Great Place Great Food and Great Service.

Bad service, food not great. Ordered carryout and they gave me the wrong order. I called and they said they would bring me a replacement. Then got a call 30 mins later saying they couldn't bring it and I'd have to come up there to get a replacement. The young guy on the phone was rude and said "it's only a dollar difference so it's not a big deal anyway". I then spoke to the lady owner and she was more rude that the first person! Said she didn't believe I got the wrong order and I wasn't telling the truth. Keep in mind my order only cost $16...who wastes their time on $16?!?! <br/><br/>Wish I would have read the prior reviews b/c it looks as though their service is bad....the food (tom kha soup and green curry) was NOT good at all. We have MUCH better quality and taste even in Alaska...<br/><br/>Will never patronize this horrid place again. The positive reviews look as though they had friends write them to balance out the negative ones.

Good food. I got a green curry chicken for lunch. It was very good. The price was about the same as other Thia restaurants in the area.

Good. Good, cheap lunch. Same meal at night ! <br/>I eat hear at least once a week for lunch. <br/>decor is nice, the dining room was nice, clean but small.

Tik's gets my vote.. 4 Stars - Went here with a friend for lunch, we had Drunken Chicken and Bourbon Chicken.<br/><br/>I elected 2 out of 5 stars for spiciness of my dish and my companion elected 0. Both dishes were delicious, mine at 2 stars was actually spicy, and I eat spicy and hot foods like cajun andouille, hot wings, spicy Mexican and so forth... I was happy to find they had not diluted the seasonings.<br/><br/>The food was pipping hot, and as one would expect from the Thai people, beautifully presented. The interior decor was nice and the staff was true to the warm smiling Thai culture. <br/><br/>They are right across the street from WSU in a shopping center (still trying to make mental peace with eating in strip malls...)<br/><br/>They have daily specials and the Thai Iced Tea is lovely.
