Denny's

My friend and I eat here at least once a week. Today, at 10:00 AM, we brought family from out of town with us for breakfast. We were very disappointed when we were told we could not order just an egg sandwich for the young girl. The waitress said we had to order a meal that included hash browns and an egg sandwich. Then my friend wanted a +55 Starter with no hash browns and add a pancake. She was told she could not do that because that would be considered a substitution for hash browns. I couldn't believe that. We had ordered that way before with no problem. To top things off, the coffee was only lukewarm. Finally, the toast has way too much butter on it and it drips off when you pick up a piece. I'm very sorry but I cannot give a favorable recommendation after today.

It's hit or miss. The last 2 times we've gone I've asked for 4 slices of bacon 🥓 and they say I can only get 2 with the grand slam but I tell them I'll pay for the extra 2 slices. Some waitress are wonderful and this one lady is terrible, never checks on you, you have to go find her to get refills on drinks or for your ticket. The cooks do a great job, food is fresh and hot. If it wasn't for the bacon and waitress I'd given more stars.

I had eaten here several times before that definitely would rate 5 stars. This time,however, it was awful! The restaurant was pretty much empty around 12:30pm. Instead of putting us in a window booth like we asked, the waitress sat us at a table right outside the bathrooms. The bathrooms were really smelly and had overflowing trash cans. Our table was sticky all over it. We told her but she never came back to wipe it off so I grabbed some paper towels from the bathroom and cleaned it as best as I could. We always order the same orders when we eat there and I realize that different cooks make slight differences in the food. My bacon was very undercooked and my hashbrowns were a mix of raw and burnt. The only thing that was delicious were my pancakesandhis French toast. We were both very unimpressed. To top it off...the waitresses would stand right around the corner near the cash register and were complaining about the extra work and hours they're having to cover because they don't have any restaurant managers there at all. It has me looking for someplace else.

Ordered biscuits and gravy with eggs and bacon. Got edible eggs. The biscuits were hard and the gravy was flour chunks in milk. The bacon was half burnt half flimsy. Terrible flavor. Not burnt but almost a chemical taste. Pretty horrible. The kitchen just laughed the whole time. Heard this one was terrible was pretty shocked the waitress never asked how the food was. Update. Order 228559. 5 guests. At least one is sick.
