Arazu is a gem for the city of Evansville. Everytime I've been there the food has been fantastic and service prompt. Today we were treated by being sat in their downstairs seating area. It has a speak easy feel to it down there with its booths and bar. It also has its own wine tasting room. Definitely worth going to.
My family and friends have enjoyed Cafe Arazu on the Newburgh riverfront for years. When Arazu on Main opened, we were pleased to discover that it boasts many of the favorites from the original location with the addition of a more robust menu. The location (previously The Jungle) is ornate and stunning in design. The staff is friendly, attentive, and helpful - ready to help you locate the perfect delicious dish. This is the perfect location to meet for dinner and drinks before a concert at the Ford Center or for lunch with friends.
Arazu is a super tasty Mediterranean themed restaurant. Be forewarned they go very heavy on the spices and seasonings- so if you don’t like extremely flavorful, you may want to ask them to tone it down a bit for you. Think blackened vs seasoned- it’s that level of difference. The building is beautiful with incredible ceilings and wall details. A treat if you’re in EVV. I had the steak skewers and the traditional beef/lamb kabob plus we split a gyro flatbread appetizer. Everything was tasty.

It is a very nice place very good to go for dinner with friends even alone. You coul try the sheesh-leek that is basically lamb chops I tried medium so the lb is very soft and tasty. Also, try the Sheppard's platter with baba ganoush, hummus feta cheese, if you like to try new flavors this is a good place to begging.
I love this place! Our waitress was amazing!!!!
Love the lavender mojitos. The food was good and we were not rushed it all. It's a nice place to hang out for a while.
