Squeelin’ Pig B.b.q

Alright where to start with this....the food. So the portions are good. The time it took to get our food was good considering it was made to order, took about 10 minutes. I ordered the brisket and pulled pork with Mac n cheese and mashed potatoes and gravy. The "pulled" pork was more like a diced pork, definitely not pulled at all, was kinda sweet. The brisket was good meat, but the sauce they had put on it reminded me of a spiral ham glaze, which when you think BBQ that's not what you expect. The Mac n cheese was good. The mashed potatoes were alright but the gravy was very thick and dark, not my personal preference but my boyfriend liked it. I did really like the cornbread though, they topped it with maple syrup and it was nice and crumbly. My boyfriend ordered the quarter chicken and "pulled" pork with fries and corn. He commented that the chicken was a little pink and should have been cooked longer and that the skin on the chicken was very fatty. The fries were nothing amazing and the corn was good but seemed borderline undercooked as well, it was still very hard. The place itself was very small with just two indoor booths. The heating didn't work very well so if you plan on dining in I would definitely bring a jacket. The place also didn't have very good ventilation because it was pretty smoky inside, so if you're sensitive I wouldn't recommend dining in. There also didn't seem to be a restroom available to guests. Overall it was alright, this definitely isn't southern BBQ so I don't think I'll be returning. Next time if I want BBQ I'll just drive to Dinosaur Bar-B-Que in Syracuse.

First time I ordered from here was fantastic. Food arrived within 30 minutes and was fresh. The second time, with my mother in town and me bragging about it, took over two hours for delivery. The food was cold (or warm in her case with her salad), my order was wrong, and my wife's macaroni and cheese was literally just pasta, no cheese. My brisket was chewy. It was just a terrible experience.

Gave this place 3 chances.... 1st visit, took over an hour to receive our food but we understand it is a new business and the food was good so we did not mind. 2nd time we ordered for delivery...took 2 & 1/2 hours to receive our food. 3rd time was 3 days ago for my husbands birthday we decided to order for pick up since they took forever to deliver last time. We were surprised that our food was ready on time and the cashier read me my order and it was correct so we went home with our order only to see I was missing shrimp from my order. I had ordered the 2 meat plate of 1/4 ribs and spicy shrimp with home fries and corn on the cob. I called only to be passed around to different employees and they asked for my name and number and told me they would call me back because they were busy. Never received a call, I had to call an hour later after many attempts they finally answered, I think it was the owner and he said he ran out of shrimp and blamed the cashier for not telling me and refunding me my shrimp ay pick up.... He asked what he owed me shrimp or a refund..I said refund... 3 days later no refund so i paid 16.50 for 1/4 rack of ribs and 2 sides. GREAT... Sucks when you really enjoy a restaurant's food but get treated poorly as a customer...

Not really sure what other reviewers are on about as I've ordered from this place many times and have had almost zero issues, save for an extra 15 minute wait one time but nothing like what's mentioned here. Fantastic food and a relatively fair price for what you get. Prices are comparable (per person) to fast-casual places like Five Guys but you get a lot more bang for your buck here.

The worst restaurant in all of Evans mills. I ordered my food at 7:40pm. 8:40 comes around, no food. 9:40 comes around, no food. I decided to call them. A man picks up and tells me that the driver is around the corner. I told him that I was going to cancel my order if the driver didn't show in the next 20 mins. 10:05 comes around, no food. I try to call the store to cancel my order and no one picks up . I called at least 25 times. This place is the worst establishment in all of Evans mills.

Great food! Poor service. Waited in line while the one cashier answered the phone and took phone orders three times before taking my order. Waited about an hour for my food. Meanwhile the phone orders were prioritized before my order. The food is really good but I’m having a hard time thinking I’ll be coming back. My suggestion: order online or by phone to skip the line and the wait

If I could rate 0 I would! Listen.. i'm a chubby girl. I love my food. I didn't take more than the first vomitous disgusting stomach churning bite. Grossest "bbq" I've ever tasted. Not to mention the attitude I recieved because apparently I was interrupting a conversation much more important than greeting the customer.. I usually order from the smokin drum on rte 3 in Watertown but I was at a friends house. Next time we're making the drive to the smokin drum!!!!
