very delicious pizza. the apple juice from the fridge is delicious as well. also it has twist-off cap. the shelf for eating at is slanted but not enough for the stuff to slide off of it. friendly staff. you just order & pay at the counter.

Smugs is great! I rated the atmosphere low only because there's no seating. This is definitely a togo pizza place but the quality is amazing and they have the best dough/ crust, very garlicky. My favorite is their vegetarian, however I really like the "Omnivore" pizza too.

Service was quick even before they closed. The pizza was great and so cheap. Soda wasn't crazy expensive either.

Smugs is pretty good pizza. I like the crust and how you can grab a slice or whole pie and can add on toppings to existing slices. Only 4💫 for having an ancient register, with no Google or Apple pay or any other tap POS ("point of sale" in case some don't know that POS doesn't always mean "piece of shizz" haha!) Could be losing out on sales, with more and more patrons using contact-less payments. Even the little crappie gas stations and and corner stores have that ability. Still like the pizza, in spite of the inconvenience of having to carry my purse in-store.

Smug's is a tiny establishment which mainly sells by-the-slice pizza. The pizza is excellent, distinguished by its unusually glutinous (chewy) crust, and a garlic flavor even when garlic is not a topping. It's a unique recipe, and quite good. Pricing used to be very affordable. Now it's just fair.

Amazing cookies! I won't buy anything I can make myself that's tastier, and these cookies definitely are worth the price.
A little spendy? Yes. But which cookies in a downtown shop aren't going to have to be pricier?

In 7th grade at Sunny Brae middle school if you read so many books you'd get a smugs pizza and if your class read the most boos the entire class would get a pizza party for smugs. It's a taste that takes me back to being a child. The crust is a dreamy crunchy garlicky soft bread. Their pizza sauce taste like the tomatoes were grown in Tuscany. The cheese, uh the cheese. Smugs is so flipping amazing! A must try if you're visiting Humboldt. Love you Smugs :)

Do you know how hard it is to find a place that will sell you two slices of premium, delicious pizza that's already ready to go for a flat 5 dollars? It's darn near impossible. Smugs will, though. Easily my favorite pizza, ever.
