Food was excellent. My walnut pesto was outstanding, the pork piccata was good but not nearly as good as the pesto. Oh, the crab cakes were the best thing we had (10/10). We rated this a 4 because the dining room music was just so loud.

Wow!! We were only in Eureka Springs for one day, and we were referred to Local Flavor Cafe for lunch. We could not have asked for a better meal or service! My sis had the special, a taco pie, which she complimented and polished off completely. I devoured a roasted eggplant sandwich.....it turned out to be a delightful treasure chock full of roasted eggplant, ooey gooey melted mozzarella, red pepper slices and pesto whose oil soaked right into the crisp-on-the-outside-soft-on-the-inside San Francisco sourdough bread....it was heaven. Seriously. We were seated at the most asked for table-for-two in the house, at a window that looked straight into the side of the hill, into which was built a beautiful fountain of stone. The trees were just starting to bloom, and everything was turning green. A perfect visual during the short wait for our food. We give Amy, our server, FIVE stars for her attentiveness! And Norman at the bar, such a friendly guy! We do hope to return to this delightful town and restaurant soon. It stole our hearts! Thanks from the twins!

Thought out the years, since at least 2015, my wife and I visit Local Flavor each time we are in Eureka Springs, they are 1 of 2 restaurants we absolutely visit. Staff has always been great each visit, and the food is excellent. When traveling with friends and family, we bring them with us, and they like so well they either want to go back or have been back.
This visit, I sampled the stuffed mushrooms and chips and salsa as an appetizer among 3-4 people. As an entrée I got the grilled salmon with a house salad with their in house made blue cheese dressing. The chef cooks the salmon to medium, which I like, but they ask your preference beforehand. It came with nice grill marks, juicy, flaky, and great flavor. As for the salad, the blue cheese was very good and thick.
My wife ordered the fish tacos, which come with Mahi Mahi. The tortillas are corn and grilled slightly before the taco is assembled. They add the slaw mix, Mahi Mahi, some mango salsa, and then topped with an avocado salsa. They were very good and 100% worth getting again.
The rest of the family with us, a total of 9, all removed their food. Everyone of us will be back. I added pictures of our dishes along with the other family memebers.
So, so good! The smoked salmon appetizer is amazing! Everything was great! Loved our server... can't remember his name, but he had a scrape on his face. Great service!
The food was so great we went here twice over the weekend! They have a great, eclectic menu with something everyone will love. This casual dining features indoor and outdoor seating with delicious food and friendly staff. If you're in Eureka Springs, you should go!
The spinach artichoke was great, and my wife enjoyed the breakfast croissant. The highlight, though, was the eggs benedict with the filet minion. Hands down the best thing on the menu! The service was amazing as well!
Just passing through and I'm glad we stopped here! The food was excellent. We had the Cobb salad, two different hamburgers and the shrimp Diablo with creamy grits (that's what's in the photo). The grits was really good and the sauce with the shrimp (i would say it needs a bit less salt however) but still really good! The employees are very nice and helpful! Excellent service.
You’re absolutely going to LOVE this place! From the owners mother who greets everyone coming in, to the waterfall behind the building that you can sit and look at, to the amazing staff, to the perfectly decorated interior (very jealous of the mid century lamp collection) to the food prepared to perfection! Local Flavor is the VERY BEST in Eureka! They do have some policies you need to be aware of; no same day reservations, it’s very small inside so bulky strollers and big shopping bags should be left in the car, it’s extremely popular so reservations are encouraged but if you don’t have one make sure you’re in line by 5 pm. It’s not a typical dining experience in the sense that they are not open all day long and that reservations are encouraged, and if you don’t mind that, be ready to be wowed!!! And the food…!!!!!!! Yum!
