Review New Delhi Cafe - Eureka Springs

Stopped here for a nice lunch before heading out of town, extremely glad we did! The flavors here were out of this world, it was fresh and some awesome cuisine choices. The atmosphere was very welcoming and the menu has a wide array of choices, even if you aren’t a fan of Indian cuisine, there are options here for you! The patio is dog friendly, they gave our pup a water bowl and had dog food options on the menu. The service was great and fast for the amount of guests.

We came looking for Indian food because of the name, but was a bit disappointed when the full menu was all American fare (burgers, sandwiches, etc.) and the Indian menu was only 3 appetizers, 3 entrees, and 2 soups. However, what we ordered was pretty good. We had the Chicken Makhani, Crab Cakes, Kids Mac n Cheese, and Kids Chicken Tenders. The crab cakes were good with or without sauce. I enjoyed the chicken makhani as well. They were really busy and shorthanded, but the waitress took great care of us. The indoor seating is pretty small. Outdoor seating is available at 3 levels and I heard live music.

Very unique food with nice views from the top balcony. We stopped in for a quick snack. Would love to go back for a full meal in the future. We are the cauliflower bread and spinach/artichoke dip. Our son ate hit wings.

This is our 4th time at New Delhi cafe this week. Today we had the grown up grilled cheese and the Dil Ruba Burger. Both were great and huge portions for a decent price. The drinks are ice cold and most importantly the service is the absolute best we have had in eureka springs. Rachel is an absolutely incredible server/bartender, friendly and fun every time. Pete said he was new to New Delhi when we came here the first day. His energy is awesome. He is kind and cares about his customers and just seems like a genuinely good person. I think we saw the owner a couple times and he really seemed to appreciate and get along with the staff. There is a gentleman in a top hat that seems to constantly be working his butt off. We haven’t talked to him much but he also seems like a great employee. Plus they are dog friendly on their super cool 21+ patio, so most of the time we see a good boy or girl come through. :)

Overall, we had a really good experience here. The food could have been better. Me and my husband both had the new Delhi burger but the meat was pretty dry. The best part of our experience was the bartender (Angela) and her AMAZING mixed drinks! That girl knows her stuff and she has the most inviting personality and worked her butt off the almost 2 hours we were there.

We were hoping for Indian food based off name and advertising. There are a few items but mostly burgers. When we arrived the waitress was immediately rude. I understand establishments being short handed but it took 10+ min to get a water and bottled beer. When she finally took our order she was again very rude. It took another 40 minutes to get our food and the appetizers came out with our entrees. The crab cakes were ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE. The hummus platter came with a ton of veggies but very little hummus. During this time we were never offered more drinks. My burger was very over cooked and dry. Fries were barely warm and soggy. My boyfriend ordered the Chicken Masala which was cold when brought out at well but the rice was hot. When we finished it took another 5-10 minutes to be asked if we needed boxes and our check never came. The waitress was sitting a booth and I had to stand at the register to get our ticket. We were also charged an automatic 18% gratuity for two people. Overall a really horrible experience.

Lot's of seating options, outdoors under the fans felt great. We ate lunch around 2 and still had great service. Pretty good menu selection, wife loved the Chutney burger and my Curry chicken and potato wrap was delicious and huge.

This place was DELICIOUS. I’d definitely go back. The service was great and the outdoor seating was perfect on a very nice day.
