Teriyaki Madness

Your own website says you close at 9pm "daily," Google shows you open until 8pm on Sundays, and your own store has it posted open until 8pm on Sundays. Yet I'm here at 7:15pm and you are closed with no one in sight. I just moved close by and was looking to try it for the first time, what a disappointment this has been. EDIT: I can understand having technical issues, or staffing issues. But as a manager, I would also leave communication to my guests of needing to close early. Little gestures like that, take it from "the company doesn't put forth the thought of upsetting future guests," to showing; consideration, explanation, and an apology for consequently refusing their business.

When I first opened my food it smelt burnt. Then I tasted the “fried” rice and it tasted burnt. The rice was mushy!!!! It had a weird gummy texture... The veggies had a frozen reheated taste... the chicken smelt burnt but tasted alright. There were maybe 15 smell pieces of chicken. Honestly wouldn’t have gone here if I had read the reviews first. This is actually my first ever review because the food was THAT BAD. I paid 10.97 plus tip for this... has anyone gotten their money back? I should’ve just walked over to subway...

I love teriyaki and this is the best I've ever eaten. We've ordered ahead and we've gone in both. Always great service. I don't mind waiting for 15 or 20 minutes when the food is worth it. This food is definitely worth it. I don't feel less than $20 for two lg bowls is extremely reasonable. We make 2 meals of it. Sorry for rambling but I really really like the food.

One star only because the girl that answered the phone was very sweet and I can't give zero. The chicken was mediocre at best. The rice was well over done and the "steak" was not even close to steak. I ordered right before close so I feel like I got the bottom of the barrel on that. The veggies even sucked and not sure how tf that is even possible.I saw someone else comment on here that it was the best teriyaki they'd had and that's a big statement so I chose this place. Wish I hadn't. Teriyaki plates are so simple; a protein and steamed or sauteed veggies over rice. If a restaurant doesn't cut corners the only complaint ever should be the sauce; and to be honest, it was probably the best part of the order but it wasn't great. I will make sure to avoid this place in the future.

An hour before closing the person ahead of me was able to order what ever they wanted— told me I could only get teriyaki chicken, then the manager came out and hooked their friend up and offered them the full menu. Second terrible experience and completely unprofessional behavior. At least wait until I’m not standing right there. Terrible terrible terrible. No one I know will eat there.
