First time eating here, but wasn’t impressed. We ordered the Carne Asada plate and Chicken Fajitas. The meat on both of these was hard, maybe overcooked? My husband and brother in law couldn’t even finish the meat. The fajitas I got had more onions than actual meat. It was pretty pricey too, not saying we are cheap, but we have had better for less. Couple of good things though; the patio overlooking downtown was nice and the server we had had great service.

It's trying to appear Hispanic, but is it?
The food lacks flavor and salt. Mostly bland.
I ordered Carne Asada, but the steak came whole. The beans didn't have much flavor, or the price.
For food that lacks flavor, the prices are significantly high, especially considering the location isn't as good as other places. It's on the third floor of a building, hidden away.

My husband and I decided to try Chelitos while we were up in Estes Park. We were pleasantly surprised. It was delicious and the service was amazing. We will definitely be back.

How’s the food? Zero idea. Why a one star review? THREE various times posted as during their business hours, they were “closing” or closed....
Nowhere near the posted time frame.
Guys I understand you don’t want to stay open if your not profitable... but sure seems hard to make any money if your closed ... consistently during “business hours”. If you go under and say “we tried”... I have to honestly ask... did you?

We will always support a restaurant that has dedicated vegan items! Thank you! Food was delicious and service was good. Not sure why all the reviews about being neglected. All the servers were busy and we were served in a normal amount of time. Maybe those reviews are by demanding tourists? Prices are high, but I feel like it's to be expected in a tourist town.

We just love Chelitos!! Always greeted with smiles and rarely have a wait for a table, even on weekends. The food has great flavor, the portions just right and seriously fabulous Margaritas! My husband's Rum and Coke was great too. We had the Carnitas Plate and the Carnitas Street Tacos, sooooo good, full of flavor! Also the Guacamole, made at the table, was really delicious. Most of all, great service and atmosphere. Definitely our favorite Mexican restaurant in Estes Park! Definitely recommended!

The fish tacos were delicious. I enjoyed the side dishes as well. Unlimited chips and salsa. Good service. Prices are reasonable. We’ll come back to eat at this place again soon.
