I mean…it was…okay…I guess? Loaded garlic bread amounts to 4 total pieces of small bread, one pepperoni, one piece Canadian bacon and a SMALL sprinkle of store bought shredded cheese. Definitely economy portion. Seafood Alfredo was LOADED with Alfredo sauce. Not a good thing. I ate about half my meal. It was A LOT of Alfredo. I guess it was filling but not satisfying at all. I got a side Caesar salad and $4…it was a small salad with store bought Caesar dressing squirted on top. Not even mixed together. Then, they threw 4 whole, decent sized cherry tomatoes on top. Meh 😒. The rolls that came with the meal were hard on the bottom. They looked store bought as well, then reheated. Not tasty. The food was very hot, so there’s that. Not a wide ranging drink/wine menu. Few wines of every variety but we passed. No value for your money. At all. The floors, 🤢🤢. You can see where the floor is heavily trafficked and where it’s never walked. It was gross. The floor LOOKED sticky with 10 years of grit and grime. Floors ugh, were hard to look at. We’re local to Estes but we wont be back.

This small town Italian restaurant doesn't look like much on the outside, and the impression doesn't overly improve when you go inside. While clean it's very unassuming. Unassuming, that is, until you try the food! We had a chicken pasta dish and a gluten free Italian sausage dish. Both were very well flavored! The gluten free pasta was especially well prepared!

Loved this restaurant! The food was excellent and we were so happy we ended up choosing it for dinner. Kids even finished their food, which never happens. Every single employee we came across was beyond kind and helpful, from the host to the servers and the owner. They were all working so well together and even though the place was packed with people constantly coming in, the employees were so calm and accommodating. I think having a reservation is probably better but we only had to wait 15 mins for a table. The food came pretty quickly and each dish was delicious! Lots of options and you can build your own plate and choose your own pasta and sauces. Perfect place for a family. My child built her own plate with bow tie pasta and basil pesto sauce that had mushrooms and artichoke hearts. My son had the shrimp diavolo. We also ordered the Fettuccini Alberto but with Angel hair pasta and the Ravioli mushroom marsala (SO GOOD), you can also ask for spicy which I recommend. We actually went for dessert and had the spumoni cheesecake and canoli. They also serve Dazbog coffee. Highly recommend the restaurant, my 9 yr old kept saying thank you to us for going there 😋☺️

I cannot express how fantastic of an experience we had with the people at Sweet Basilico. They SAVED our wedding day!! Everything and anything that could have gone wrong that day did. We were supposed to get married at Bear Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park, but due to weather, the park was closed. Our wedding was moved at the last second to 2.5 hours away from there. Because of all the timing issues, our initial reservations for after the wedding were canceled. We were frantically calling around to many restaurants hoping for a last minute chance for a table of 8. When I called Sweet Basilico, I was so thankful for how gracious they were with us in our dire circumstances. They welcomed us, a bigger party, at 8:15pm when they close at 9pm. I cannot tell you how AMAZING our experience was! They made us feel like family from the minute we got there, providing us top notch service, delicious food and drinks, and even went as far as cutting a cake we brought in from another bakery. I was so overwhelmed with how incredible these people were to us in a tough situation. They did not try to rush us out and even joined in on celebration and pictures. On the way out, the owner sent us off with the kindest, most heartwarming well wishes and gift for our wedding. We will forever be patrons of Sweet Basilico and cannot wait to return and eventually bring our future children for years to come. Thank you to these beautiful humans for the most wonderful way to end a chaotic wedding day!

We visited Sweet Basilico on the Friday before our wedding this last weekend! This place was amazing! We had the best food and service. Our server handled our party of 14 without fault. Our food and drinks came out quickly and she was so friendly. My husband had the chance to talk to the manager/owner and he was so sweet to gift us a wine glass to remember our night here. We will definitely be back!!

Food was decent! But for the amount you got was not worth the price. Dinner prices for a lunch size “if even that” Dinner rolls would be better if served with butter melted on top, dinner rolls served were hard. Server was amazing tho

Excellent Italian food. We enjoyed the Chicken Marco Polo in a delicious wine sauce and Chicken Sorrento with eggplant. Perfect balance of chicken and pasta.

I was skeptical to try this place because of the mixed reviews. I am very picky about food quality. After eating here, I can say I was not disappointed. I will preface this by saying, this restaurant is not a place for high end, luxury dining. This place is more down home, comfort Italian. It’s rich, rustic, and tasty; the atmosphere reflects this. When you are here you kind of feel like you are eating at your grandmas house (in a good way). We ordered garlic bread with a side of sauce, Caesar salad, pizza, and the pesto tortellini. My favorite by far was the pesto tortellini, it was tasty! The pizza was also good, I thought the sauce was good and the crust was nice a crispy. The service was prompt and our server met all of our requests even though they were very busy. I would come back again next time I am in Estes.
