Absolutely lovely experience! We've lived here for a couple years and we've never gone to Twin Owls. We've been missing out!!!! Is it expensive, yes. Is it delicious, ALSO YES. The 4oz market price on lobster tail seemed steep at $27 but it is what it is. It was extremely tasty. The NY strip was phenomenal and the gentlemen who served it asked me to cut into the steak for proper temperature. This is a great way to eliminate a customer complaining about temperature a few minutes later and I love it! Whatever sauce was served with my steak..WoW...I wish I had a whole bottle of that for every meal. It was remarkable.
The green beans were okay, I think they needed a bit more seasoning and another minute of cooking but I still ate them all.
The drinks were good as well. This is definitely the place for a special occasion or just treat yourself!
If you make a reservation, request a window table. You might not get it but if you do, the views are breathtaking.
We'll be back!

We enjoyed every bit of our anniversary dinner here. The ambience is nice without being pretentious and the food was incredible. We had the elk kabob appetizer which was amazingly tender plus short ribs and a bison ribeye. Everything was perfect. Even the wine list was tasty and affordable. Service was top notch. This is our new anniversary place from now on.

Hit the spot!!
I was looking for a local, highly rated steakhouse for my solo trip to Estes Park and Twin Owls Steakhouse came by recommendation by the locals. Wow! The restaurant itself is beautiful with plenty of seating and open space. Family-friendly, event friendly. The service was excellent! The food was delicious (ordered a 7 oz. Filet Mignon, green beans and the homemade bread pudding for desert) and the views are spectacular over looking a vast mountainside. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a nice dining experience.
Pro Tips: make reservations in advance on Open Table or call ahead, however they do take walk-ins based on availability. Request a window seat so you can marvel at the view. Definitely order the homemade desserts!

Excellent food, great for someone who just hiked a mountain. The staff there were super friendly and willing to suggest great food and drink. Their desserts were decadent! If I’m ever in Estes park again, I’d absolutely go back.

The best meals and best Steak and Sea Bass I had ever in 57 years on this planet, Appetizers surpassing any that I ever had. I reccomend the Elk Kabob and Burrata Caprese. The location is gorgeous. Sit by the northern or western windows for the view if you can. The dining area is beautiful and we heard a great guitarist playing live fir our dinner. The owners are so gracious and lead a team of very talented chefs, servers, Somalia and staff who are kind and excellent in their skills. We were so blessed! Perfect 28th Anniversary for us.

View is nice, the guitarist was lovely, the decor is pleasant, the food however was all over the place and very disappointing. We ordered the elk kabob appetizer and it was over cooked and over seasoned. Two of us ordered the filet mignon and asked for medium well and it came and was still oozing blood. I ordered a margarita and it was tequila and water only. The waiter was kind when I pointed out the filet and immediately tried to fix it, we tipped him well since he was very concerned with how to fix it. Honestly, I’d go to any other steak house in town before returning to this one. It simply was not worth the money and the ambiance was not nice enough to forgive the lack of consistency with the cooking.

Highly recommend this place. Wish I could give an extra star. Strongly recommend trying out their different meat entrées in a family style, if you are 3-4+ in a group. See picture below of a sampler plate we created, that includes Elk Kebab, Elk Sirloin, Bison Filet, Chicken, Brussels Sprouts and some sides.
We discovered this place accidentally on our way to Denver after finishing a productive day in Rocky Mountain National Park.
The staff here is amazingly warm and efficient. Chef produced red meat entrees exactly as we had wanted (medium rare). Special mention for Becki— she expedited the service to help us get back on the road quickly, as we had desired.
We will definitely visit again, whenever we are in the RMNP or the Denver neighborhood.

We had an excellent time here! We traveled from California and hiked the Rocky Mountain NP all day. We wanted good food!!! Do yourself a favor and treat yourself with good food! First of all, the restaurant was very spacious. Staff is friendly and EXTREMELY attentive. My water glass was never empty and the table was always cleared from used dishes. We ordered the ahi tuna appetizer. It had a hint of Wasabi in the mayo which made perfect compliment to the tuna. I had fresh catch of the day which was sea bass. It was absolutely delicious!!!! Then my friend ordered an 8oz prime rib. It was tender and juicy. The owner of the restaurant Thad came to our table to check on us multiple times! We felt very welcomed!
