I tried out this place today. I wasn’t disappointed as I saw a few reviews about the California burrito so that’s what I got. And it is good. Also got an order of rolled tacos. Also good (still think Sayulitas are a little better). I asked for the spiciest salsa and well, that i got. Salsa is spicy
The Food was Great! It had good Flavor.
I got the San Felipe Burrito, Carne Asada Burrito, and 2 tj style tacos de Tripa y Cabeza
The tripa was nice and Crunchy, the cabeza great flavor 👍🏽

Love it here. If you have room for dessert give the butterscotch cream pie a whirl it is amazing. The staff is always friendly and helpful.
1st time eating here [I'm from WA]: the achiote taco [pollo] con lettuce is huge I forgot how the big tacos here in Cali are & with double tortillas. Not too bad! The tj style taco is okay. the salsas are spicyyy if you like that! I think everything could've used some Avocado on top or a chunky gree
By far the best taco shop homemade Mexican food in the city of Escondido. Outstanding fresh hot sauce and chef crafted menu. Including a walk up window for easy ordering and pick up. I love the people who work there, they make the food with love. Please re open!!!!!
Great food. Cashier seemed a bit impatient but overall good service.
This is one of the most underrated restaurants in Escondido. I just had1 mar y tierra taco that was amazing, usually I drive to German's truck in San Marcos but I pulled up to the walk up window and literally was ready to go in 5 mins (during lunchtime!) I am definitely going back for more soon !
The food is amazing but chubby lady with glasses sucks at customer service and forgets drinks almost every time I go there forgets napkins forgets salsa and she's always serious other than that food is amazing 😍 fresh
