So this was my second bad expierence within I believe a year. My daughter and I went to breakfast on Tuesday (4/19) morning and this is what I found in my breakfast. Our waitress who was wonderful apologized over and over and asked if she could bring me anything else and I told her no. She again apologized asking if I wanted anything else and I again said no. At this point I had lost my appetite and didn’t want anything. When we got our bill my breakfast was still on there and when I went to pay I informed the cashier that I would not be paying for my breakfast and to please take it off of my bill which they did. That is the last time I will eat at Pano’s I will never go back.

Stumbled upon this restaurant and am glad I did! There was no wait as you can tell the restaurant is run efficiently, and has great service. Portions were generous, food was delicious, hot, and came out in a timely manner even though it was crowded for Mother's Day. The Greek sauce (a meat sauce) is a nice addition to any dish.
The owner is quite personable, knows many of his customers, and takes a special interest in them, which is apparent. He is carrying forward his great-grandfather's legacy keeping the restaurant alive and serving the community. I appreciate supporting a local business like this. I come to Erie often, and look forward to coming back soon!

Pano's is a excellent place to eat at, this was the place my husband Doug and I went to on our honeymoon and every anniversary for 8 years before he passed. we also went to Panos on dates too. This place has so many memories and now that i work here its a awesome place to work the other coworkers are helpful and lots of fun to be with also the bosses are very helpful and understanding. The food here is excellent the best place in Erie to eat for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. I totally recommend this place to eat at also come in for a smile 😃 I still eat here with family and friends it really is a great restaurant

Very good food! The southwest tangler burger was excellent. The pot roast hash and eggs was good, but the pot roast wasn't as much the star of the show as it could have been. Overall good food and nice atmosphere. Bernadette is an excellent waitress!

Panos is hands down when of my all time favorite places to eat in Erie. I've been coming here my whole life & not once have I ever been disappointed. The staff here are so kind, the food is always amazing, you feel right at home as soon as you go in & sit down. It's an Erie dining staple & a must go. You wont regret your time here.

Terrific breakfast spot! Greek stylings on the menu, but mostly American traditional comfort foods. Friendly staff, Erie-themed decor, busy during prime times. Not a lot of parking, but a huge lot across the street, some outdoor tables for summer.

Pano’s is a great restaurant! Never fails for a good meal with the family! The staff is absolutely amazing, they’ve kept servers, cooks, and customers for over 40 years! The food comes fast and hot. The menu has a large variety of things to chose from, so you can always find something. Always leave full and happy with amazing food and even better service! Panos is always my first go to for a meal out!

I got the Greek buster combo and my fiance got a meatball sub w/poutine. She wanted Greek fries from the combo, and I wanted Poutine, so we swapped fries. It was great!

One of the best restaurants in the neighborhood! If you haven't tried their Greek Fries, then you haven't had Greek Fries, fantastic! The service is great and the food is always good! Elinor is one of the best ! I highly recommend Panos!

Panos has become our families fave stop for breakfast. Friendly staff, great food, hot coffee, can't ask for more than that!

Normally love this place but boy not this time chicken and biscuits looked like it was out of the can I had meatloaf and it tasted like a frozen Salisbury steak, they really need a new cook because I would be embarrassed to serve what they have been cookin up and if I wanted a TV dinner I could of stayed home and saved the money. Suggestion get a real cook or close your doors

We love Panos. Their food is very good and reasonably priced. And the staff is wonderful. Definitely worth the drive across town. Try them out. You will love it.

Waited 45 min for the food which got burnt and had to wait another 45 mins while my friends ate their food. There was only two other tables and we ordered 10 minutes before either of them. Did not offer me any discount or anything. Unacceptable.

The Greek fries and burgers are awesome. Breakfast usually are very satisfying and the servers are very friendly. You gotta try all their desserts! So many choices.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!. I used to go to Panos 3 times a week in the 80's, it was our favorite breakfast/late night/coffee place. I have gone there at least a few times a year ever since. This past summer on a SUNDAY morning, we THOUGHT we would have a good breakfast, however, the waitress seemed REALLY not with it, She was extremely slow. never introduced herself or said welcome, just walked up to our table and said "what can i get ya" waited 5 minutes for coffee and then another few for sweet n low since they are not allowed on the tables and the server had none on her body? Then, my daughter ordered pancakes for her child and after and extremely long wait (30 minutes) the server brought them out. My daughter thought the order was wrong because she ordered chocolate chip pancakes and you couldn't see any chocolate chips. When she asked the server about it, the server grabbed her pancake with her bare hands and lifted it up to show my daughter the under side of it. My daughter was frustrated between the slow service, unprofessionalism and just plain recklessness by this serer so she asked to speak to the manager. Things went from bad to MUCH worse. First the server said the manager wasn't in. Yeah right. So we asked to speak to a man that had been working in the kitchen in a dress shirt and tie that was sending out commands to the staff. We must have been right to guess this was someone significant because the server got extremely panicky comparable to how an abused woman would!! She asked my daughter what she did wrong. my daughter replied with " I will discuss it with the manager" the server said "please don't, you will get me in trouble" this putting my daughter in an awkward position . Even more irritated, my daughter explained to her what she did wrong. but also wanted to still talk to the manager. So the server rushed off, and another lady appeared and asked what the problem was. My daughter asked if she was a manager. she replied with "no, I am head waitress" Now, our party of 5 was all feeling infuriated because the server had lied, evaded her request, and guilt tripped us. Then grabbed another server instead of a manager. So my daughter said "I would like to speak to the man in the kitchen who seems to be a manager" the server informed us he was the owner. and my daughter said "fine, I would like to speak to HIM then." so we wait, and wait, the "owner" takes his own breakfast and sits down and eats in the dining room a few tables away from us. At this point we were perplexed, thought maybe the head server was in cahoots with our server and just refused to let him know we requested seeing him? SO after he was finished eating(25 minutes after we asked for him) I intervened and walked up to him in the kitchen area. I asked "are you aware my daughter has waited 25 minutes to speak to you?" he got very rude, started raising his voice, said he isn't talking to us and were not getting "free food" which was even more insulting in an all ready horrible experience. We didn't want free food, we seriously only wanted him to reprimand the server for MANY things she handled wrong. After I answered with that, he started raising his voice!!! Said "I need to hire your daughter. we need good servers" "DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW HARD IT IS ON A BUSY SUNDAY FOR THESE GIRLS?" ok. rationalize the slow service with that, but what about all that unproffesionalism, and what did the server tell him was our complaint anyway? How do we know he got the truth after all she did to evade it? So i asked "Are you seriously not even going to speak to my daughter to find out what happened and what her complaint is?" he said "NO I am not speaking to her at all", and kept mouthing off. I walked over and told my daughter, granddaughter, and other 2 guests at our table to get up, were leaving" Went up to pay, made a comment on how "I cant believe he is a restaurant owner, how he remains open with his attitude, how I'd been coming here for 25 years and never again. He ASSUMED we weren't going to pay, even though I was standing right at the counter, and he told the server to call the cops..."call 911". I was SHOCKED and said "your calling the police because I complained and YOU caused a scene?" he said "OH you're going to pay??" I said "of course" and I did. But I was definitely repeating how unproffesional I felt he and his whole place was while paying the bill. I walked out to leave, and the cops come flying in the parking lot. WOW! The cop stated they dialed 911 and hung up so the police had no idea what was happening, possibly a robbery or something, and he seemed irritated at the frivolous call with an emergency number. He stated we had every right to complain, went in and told the owner that we were allowed to voice our opinion to him. Came back out, told me to use the internet to let people know this experience because its the greatest weapon against a business who conduct themselves that way. He then also commented to us that he NEVER eats there after he had a bad experience there! GO FIGURE!?! Unless you would like to be part of a lifetime movie scenario while having a very painful 2 hour breakfast experience!

Erie is a city with a decent population, but small time feel.. That means almost everything but a couple of country fairs close pretty early. Panos is the one place I can always count on when I have a late night craving or after a night of fun. Always great service.

Great Service. Their huge breakfasts are amazing and the service is always great - all the ladies are super friendly and attentive. There is just something about the coffee that I love. For us, it is a must-stop when we pass through Erie.

I used to go to Panos all the time when I was younger and it was always great. I recently moved back to the area and decided to see if it was just as good. I tried the italian bomber and it was even better than I remembered. Their greek sauce is ok too, but I've made better. This is a great place for a quick bite to eat and its menu selection is awesome compared to other places in the area.

Had lunch, was just ok. Let me first state, Pano's is long known as a breakfast place, and we went there for lunch. My comments and "don't like" rating are based on lunch... we've never eaten breakfast there.

But, as a lunch stop -- it was wholly uninspiring. Limited lunch selection, I had a cajun chicken sandwich and my wife had an italian sausage. My 1/4" thick piece of pressed chicken came on a huge bun, that had been slathered with butter and grilled. I tasted more bun than chicken, even with the cajun seasoning.

My wife's italian sausage was unlike anything I've seen as a sub -- it was sausage patties (maybe they use them for breakfast?) rather than the normal large diameter sausage link. She said it was ok tasting, but again overdid the butter-grilled bun and she had no desire to come back.

Try the hat trick!. One of my favorite places to eat breakfast!

They used to have much larger portions and used to be a lot cleaner of a restaraunt. Food is still pretty good, but there are many better places to go around town.
