We stopped in just by chance on our way home from an amazing UP trip. The food was amazing. Homemade everything right down to the strawberry jam. Staff were smiling and very friendly even tho they were crazy busy and running their butts off. We will definitely be back again.

Surprised by how good the coffee was! Homemade bread and jam. Omelet was average, our waitress seemed nice to the locals, but was less than pleasant to out of towers. The other waitress working was very nice. Overall, I would probably stop if I were in the area again.
Beary Patch is a popular local restaurant right off U. S. 2, on the north side, about 55 miles west of the Mackinac Bridge, 2 miles past the blinker light at the turn-off to 117 and Engadine. Place was busy the whole time we were there. The Lady running the place kept on moving.
