This place was amazing. I had some of the best salmon I've ever had here. The owners are extremely nice and attentive. The protein roll is phenomenal along with the uni sashimi. We will definitely be back, even with the hour in a half drive it would take both ways. We will drive for sushi.

The staff met us at the door and was very friendly! Within minutes she had a plastic cup with a lid and straw and a coloring book and crayons for my toddler. She was friendly and talked to us including my toddler. Food was great especially for a fast sushi place and good quality. Enjoyed the experience very much! Would come back when in town.

Cute place. Really good sushi in the area. Moderately priced. Service is a little too casual for my taste. Like don't bring out a nasty buss tray and throw all the dishes inside making a super loud noise in the middle of dining room. The place is very small, and so are the plates, so they could take dishes to the back by hand and do the clean up there. It also bothers me when servers drop the check without removing the dirty dishes in front of you, specially if you are no that busy. That's a big no no in restaurant service. I have worked at many in the past.

We go here once a week. David always recommends great new things to try. Can't beat the small sushi house feeling like in Japan. Clean, polite and delicious!

Awesome sushi!!! Get the Big Mike and order the Sallie Special. It is off menu and imagine if Japan and Mexico had a baby with a tad of eel sauce. For your non sushi lovers get it with soy paper. It made me a sushi convert.

Had the lobster California roll and the spicy tuna. Quick delicious meal that'll satisfy your appetite without making you full. Reasonably priced and right off the 5 freeway. Will be coming back when I'm in the area.

Yum, love the food here! Small place with outdoor patio, plenty of parking. *They moved to a new location after I wrote that. Now in a bigger space on El Camino. Plenty of parking, same menu when I went.

David is the best 5 star sushi chef in Encinitas. He came to our table to talk about dishes and sauces. Delicious and a great experience.
