Rude, angry, no patient. Did NOT follow Covid-19 protocol, and did not check vaccination records for dine in. Charged me $17.51 for the item that listed as $15.99 on menu. When asked for the reason for the difference, got very angry. Early, when I finished, took long time for him to respond to me. And not bring my receipt to me, in stead, told me to come over to him. In the end, his manager, confirmed that IHOP doesn’t check vaccination card for dine-in at this time.
Had pretty good experience in Walnut Creek IHOP, that’s why I came to IHOP when I was around, but seems the experience was totally different.

HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!!
NO CURBSIDE PICK-UP???
LACKED EFFORT TO ADDRESS ISSUE!
My partner is Covid positive and in effort to limit my contact with others, I ordered curbside pick-up.
I used their text message notification to let them know I had arrived and received this message, "You made it! We see you in the parking lot and your order will be brought to you soon!"
After waiting more than 10 mins I called the restaurant and was told I needed to come inside to pick up my order. They don't have curbside pick-up. I asked to speak to the manager and was told, "I'll try to get her but she's busy"
Upon entering the restaurant I disclosed my partner has Covid and my efforts to limit contact with people to the staff at the front desk. I requested to speak to the manager and again was told they would have to check because they were busy.
When the manager approached me she did not introduce herself and did not have on a name tag, so I'm only assuming she was the person in charge. I showed her the messages on my phone for curbside pick-up, instructions to wait in the parking lot and my direct exposure to covid. She acted confused and unsure about why this happened. She offered assistance carrying out my order but looked confused when I refused to follow her thru the restaurant to the back door where I was parked!! Again I'm trying to limit any exposure to others.
All the manager could say to me as I got into my car was, "I'm sorry, we're really busy!"
Can someone please explain to me why my receipt says CURBSIDE with a description of my vehicle yet the staff was confused about what that means or why I was expecting my order to be brought to me???

I had the spicy poblano omelet with hash brown and coffee $24:00
the omelet look small, with small portion of shredded meat outside the omelet, that was a lot of money for a poorly made omelet. looks like they made the omelet and didn't care. it was awful I left most of it on the plate I could see a lot of other unfinished breakfast plats on other tables. my opinion if the manager doesn't care why should the cook. I told the waitress the food was awful. she told me it was a ghetto Ihop.

Service was decent. We didn't see our server after we got our food until we asked for the check. The fried chicken breast and potato pancakes were delicious. I found a chocolate chip in my side salad but that's better than finding a hair!

I do not recommend getting a to-go order here. The quantity and quality of food vs eating there are completely opposite. I’m sure this happens a lot and they get away with it because no one complains.

We decided not dine here. The prices are way overblown for Denny's level of service and food quality. The place was clean but I didn't want pancakes that bad and their coffee is garbage... even with it the intend being to patronize for IHOP national pancake day
