Mikes's Ellijay Restaurant - Ellijay - Photo album

We were in town for a few days and noticed this little “hole in the wall” restaurant always had plenty of local cars in the parking lot, so we decided to give it a try. It was so good!!! Everything we tried tasted great, fresh, and homemade. The prices were great and our waitress was amazing, even t
The food was excellent and the coffee was hot. It wasn't the fastest, but well worth the wait. It should be noted that they take cash or check only. I didn't notice that when I first looked it up.
Party of five for breakfast. No wait, prompt service and good food. Nice breakfast spot. Would like to try them for lunch. Be aware they accept only cash or check.
I absolutely enjoyed this place. The food was excellent. Breakfast and lunch item selections are great. A must visit.....When I'm in the area, this will be my go-to place.
The biscuits were big and fluffy, everything was delicious. Everyone was friendly and attentive. Will go back when in town.
A nice little mom and pop feeling diner. We stopped in for breakfast. Excellent, friendly service. Slightly slow in the kitchen, but it was worth the wait. The food was excellent. I'd definitely go again!
Great value, quality of food and service, no credit cards taken here so bro g your cash, highly recommend!!
Classic American diner fare, served with a side of small-town southern charm. The prices are crazy good, and the service equally so. We had bacon, French toast, a Western omelette, and hash browns. Food was good. Cash or check only.
All the food was tasty and hot! I had the country-fried steak, mashed potatoes and green beans, he had fried catfish, smashed potatoes and green beans. We had biscuit-type rolls and corn bread, both good. His came with hushpuppies, which were my favorite. I would go again to try the fried pork chops
Basic American Cafe style sit-down restaurant. Reminded me of an S&S cafeteria. The sweet tea was quality. I had fried chicken, corn chowder, collards and mashed and gravy. Food was decently prepared. Nothing to write home about but if you like this style of food you won't be disappointed.
