Reviews of Cold Stone Creamery

Absolutely love the way they take care of their customers. I've ordered personalized cakes from Otsego Coldstone twice this year (we do walk in during the summer often though) and each time they've out done themselves. For the sake of my family I "caked" their name and faces but the photos and colors printed on the ice cream cake turned out beautifully! Cake was frozen upon pick up and perfect! Both were oreo ice cream flavored! It was super heavy! Guests were in awe and didn't want to eat it because it was so beautifully colored and made.

I ordered two items for delivery. The delivery driver stated that cold stone did not see I ordered anything and so I would have to order again. I was charged for the first order, and when I talked to a worker at cold stone he said he would not refund my order. He was extremely rude and not helpful during the interaction.

This is what I received from the Otsego, Minnesota Cold stone Creamery. I had the absolute worst service from employees that clearly didn’t care about my experience. They were rude and snarky when I asked for lids since I had to drive four ice creams home. They were making rude comments back and forth to each other about how they disliked each other. They gave me rude looks for asking for a bag to put my four ice creams in. They handed me this ice cream with the lid not even on. I had even asked if the lid was on and they said “no, it won’t fit” and walked away. They then argued with each other about how the one employee filled it up too much instead of helping THE PAYING CUSTOMER with resolving the issue. The employees were asking me how they should ring up MY BIRTHDAY ICE CREAM. Isn’t that their job to know? I chose to spend my time to get my birthday treat at this Cold stone. Now I’m not going back to this awful Cold stone until actions are taken to prevent situations like this from happening again.

There was a decent line and only 2 people working. The two employees did amazing! They were patient with my kids wanting to order their own, friendly but still quick and effecient. My daughter has a nut allergy and hers had to be made in the back and they were so accommodating. We will definitely be back!

Ice cream was great just like every other cold stone. Husband got some type of chocolate signature one and the chocolate tasted slightly freezer burnt so that was kind of disappointing. They are being pretty safe with the food handling, but there was one employee that put gloves on without washing their hands first. I didn't really care so I didn't say anything but I know plenty of people who would say something.
