I'm a contractor from out of town, trying out the local cuisine, I drove up here from Elk Point and was disappointed to see that the windows were all boarded up. I would not recommend going here, although, I hear that this place is reopened up in Elk Point, so I hope to visit tomorrow. Just never, ever, go to this particular location.

Wonderful prime rib! I got the trio special this time. I think next time I'll skip the shrimp. It wasn't bad just nothing special. I think prime rib and a potato is where it's at. Really nice small town vibe.

We stopped by the Spink Restaurant 3-4 weeks ago in mid afternoon. We both got burgers,
I got the Cheeseburger, it was way big & good. Onion rings were great too. Good food, all the staff had masks on, no crowd at all mid-day. We’ll stop again if ever in the area.

LOVED this place!!! Food (plenty of it too) was great. The inside motif is '50's style was so cute! Sweet girls running the place today. Definitely worth stopping!

The Spink Family Restaurant is a hallmark of upper Midwestern farm and ranch style table fare. I ate here years ago, and now live out of state, but it’s actually worth the thousand mile drive it would require me to experience it again. Reminiscing about it today was enough to compel me to post a five star rating.
If you’re driving through South Dakota after or on your way to seeing Rushmore or the Badlands and such, stop here. When you get home, you’ll talk as much about the prime rib as you do about those other things, I assure you!

I liked the old Spink Cafe. They were so much friendlier and even socialized more with the customers. I realize there's problems out there but thats what we looked forward to when we visited the Cafe. Just wasn't there
