I love taking out at this place and take advantage of their buy 2 get one free sushi rolls it's alot cheaper if ordering big. Family always enjoys them! My only complaint is the portions, wish they could be bigger to feed all my family instead of ordering in multiples, but its delicious! 😋

Cheap quality, too much rice. Rolls were made so big you could barely fit one piece in your mouth. Entirely too much sauce, it was literally dropping off by the globs while I ate. The plum wine was sickeningly sweet.
Update, I woke up with food poisoning. Do not eat here!!!

People, please check your order before you leave when ordering for pickup. Sushimoto is such a ripoff. They ripped me off twice. Some of my orders were not included.

We went their for a birthday celebration and ordered the buffet meal. Even though the waitress was great and did a awesome serving us. But the foods is absolutely unacceptable, food can out super slow. Went finished first round of orders, we wait over 10 minutes for the second orders to come. The garlic shrimp 🍤 is not fresh and the soup is salty. Only best tonight was their service is make up for the lack of fresh food.

The smell and the texture of the ramen seafood noodle bowl was unsatisfactory because it smelled and tasted like packaged top ramen and they just put seafood in it with veggies that’s it no authentic noodles made.

I threw up in the restaurant. That's how good Sushimono was. Teriyaki chicken, spicy chicken and gyoza. All tasted funny. The rice was good.

I've only had takeout from this Sushimono Elk Grove location, and all my experiences have been great. Happy hour even extends to takeout - buy 2 speciality rolls (which is all we were planning on) and we were thrilled to get another speciality roll free. Excellent specialty rolls & sashimi, and always super friendly staff (even just when picking up said takeout).
