Outback Steakhouse

Last year my food was delicious! Today, 3/25/22 it was very disappointing.☹️ I ordered the filet mignon with macaroni cheesy bites. The steak was suppose to be medium well, not burnt. The cheesy bites were dry. I paid $40.15 minus $1.00 for cancer aid and a $2.00 tip. ( I went and picked it up myself) Is it just me or have you guys noticed that the food lately has not been of a good quality. Not sure if I will be going back to Outback anytime soon.

The prime rib was finally back! I have to admit, we hadn't come in a while due to extremely poor service last time. When I seen the menu yesterday however,  I was excited to give it another shot and it didn't disappoint! Prime rib was delicious as well as the bloomin onion, and yes, the salad. Would I come back? Yes. Even our servers provided great service. Thanks Jen and Laura

The food has been delicious and would deserve five stars but the service has been less than par. On multiple visits there has been a lack of basic attention to food orders. Dining in has been a good experience but doing the curbside pickup has been annoying to say the least. The worst has been getting a salad order without any dressing. Who wants salad without dressing? They also forgot rother ingredients like the croutons. On three different occasions the chocolate sauce for the down under desert was missing. On many other visits for the curbside pickup there was an abnormal wait to get the food. Now I want to be polite and assume they are busy and read the signs to “wait in the car mate, they will be out out in a minute.” Well, after ordering 35 minutes prior to showing up and waiting for 15 more minutes in the parking lot when the online order app says ready in 20 minutes, I reluctantly went into the restaurant. I gave them the benefit of the doubt each time, thinking they could be busy or under staffed but that wasn’t the case. This happened on the last three times we have tried to order from this location and they weren’t during a weekday rush or weekend rush times and the staff was inattentive to the curbside spots which were full for a significant amount of time (I can’t say how long the others were waiting in relation to their order times) but still no one came out to see who’s order was what. Three times we waited and three times our order was “ready” and waiting but our ice cream was melted and significant ingredients missing. Don’t make our mistake and trust the staff, check your orders and don’t wait in your car! Go in right when you get there and let them know you’re waiting!

I stopped going to Outback several years ago. Seems the the food quality had slipped. But someone gave me a gift card and I gave it another try. The Caesar salad that came with my meal was a bit of a mess but the filet mignon was cooked perfectly. The baked potato was good but average. Service was also so-so... Had to ask for salt and pepper and steak sauce twice. Will I go back? Maybe if I have another gift certificate. I prefer another steakhouse now. It has longer wait times, but the quality of food and service is much better.
