Impellizzeri’s

I ordered a deep dish 12x17 sausage and pepperoni. It was nice and hot, delicious cheese, with tasty meats. However, I wasn't a fan of the sauce, it tasted like spaghetti sauce. The crust was entirely too crunchy. When I think of deep dish, I think buttery rich with just a little crunch. I also ordered a 14" deluxe...it was delicious, still no fan of the sauce. Trying to decide if it was worth 60 bux...lol..

I’m visiting from Iowa and heard good things about Impellizzeri’s. The location is great, and we walked in to find out they had live music as well. The stuffed mushrooms were nice, but the bruschetta was absolutely special. Fresh mozzarella and balsamic, I would order this 10 times over. The pizza was maybe a bit doughy, but the ingredients were fresh and the flavors were well balanced. Overall I was impressed! If I’m ever passing through again, I will make it a point to stop back here.

OMG💕 Always wanted to visit the Louisville location when I was younger and never got the opportunity. My children were too young to have even known about it. Not only were almost all my favorite foods on the menu, it tasted so good and was so filling that all 5 of us needed to go boxes. I ate 2 pieces of cheesy bread and 1 slice of pizza with roasted red peppers and mushrooms. I wasn't even able to finish my slice of cake (not made here). April 5th was a bittersweet milestone for me while still deeply grieving the loss of my twin not so long ago. But, my babies went all out to make this my best birthday yet. And thank you, Elizabeth, for being so sweet and a very attentive, awesome server. Will definitely be back. 💔💟💗
