Texas Roadhouse

We placed an order for pick up. We order pick up regularly. We have NEVER had an order that something wasn’t wrong. We have received charred black Road Kill. We have had had inedible Pulled Pork. We have received unbelievable bad rolls. We WANT to have Texas Roadhouse, but the quality of carry out is terrible. So many missing items is ridiculous. Wednesday night we ordered 2 full slab rib dinners to go with an extra dozen rolls. My husband is a 100% disabled Vietnam Veteran. He called when he arrived and asked them to bring the order out to him. They flatly refused. He was in a handicapped parking space at the door, but he was repeatedly told they will not do curbside. Of course, we assume the order will be wrong. This time we didn’t get our $4.99 extra dozen rolls, but ironically we did get the Cinnamon Butter. We ordered Make it a Bowl Chili. We didn’t get the onions and cheese. This is the amount of chili we received in both bowls. We have called on a few orders, but the manager doesn’t come to the phone. We have never written a review before, but refusing to walk out the door with an order, when the customer is a 100% disabled Veteran……what can be said to that?

So, this was our first time back here in over a year. We did the wait list online and got in pretty quickly today 1/17/2022 around 5pm. Our waiter was okay, didn’t come to the table often at all but it was busy so that was fine with us as we understood! I got a 6oz sirloin steak with loaded potatoes, corn. My steak was almost rare. It was just so tough and the texture was so bad from how rare it was. I ordered it medium rare. I can usually do a steak if it’s closer to rare but that was almost raw. The loaded potatoes had way too much butter like it over powered the potatoes. My husband ordered the 12oz Siriloin and he asked for medium rare and his was well done. We didn’t say anything because of how busy it was and the waiter was running around everywhere. But we paid close to $50 for two people so we were upset about the main part of the meal which is the steak bboth being not good at all and either over or way over cooked.

As always the food was great! And as always the rolls and butter are definitely noteworthy. I had the beef tips they were so delicious and tender. Although they were over cooked. I didn't complain because they were so tender an delicious. The wait time was a little long but for a steakhouse 45 minutes isn't too bad.

My mom and I came here for a late dinner at 9 pm. There were 2 hostesses talking to each other when we walked in and we were not instantly greeted. After a few moments, one hostess turned around to greet us. A few moments later, the other hostess took us to be seated. We sat down and our server greeted us and took our drink orders. She brought drinks and asked if we're ready to order. I asked if rolls are no longer handed out and she said, "Oh, weird. Let me grab some for you." She quickly came back with rolls for us. We ordered, and our food was quickly served. However, our server never came back until we waved her down for the check. The manager must have seen us waving as she came by to check in on us. Check and boxes were handed to us very quickly.
