Carriage Inn

Our venue at Sunset Room had Carriage Inn as one of their choices for catering. We had a Sunday brunch wedding, and their food was amazing. Everyone loved their food (cheesy potato casserole in particular). We had a mixed green salad, french toast, sausage gravy and biscuits, chicken fajitas and a cheesy potato casserole. The guests (and us) absolutely loved it! Highly recommend for catering.

Today we visited Carriage Inn for an early dinner. Our food was good. I do not really like to complain but I need to address this. I ordered soup. My first choice was not available so I had chicken dumpling soup. While eating my soup I came across a large bone. I informed our waitress and she offered no apology or deduction from our bill. Her answer was “ we smoke our chicken”. Not a good answer. I should not be eating soup with a bone in it. If I swallowed it the establishment would hear another story. This was poor customer service on my end. Sorry I hope this does not happen again.

Terrible Terrible Terrible..Terrible food..Terrible prices..Terrible portions..I tried it 3 TIMES now trying to give em every chance on earth and it gets worse every time..$18 for this pathetic chicken dinner..chicken was dry as jerky along with the potato and that piece of corn is absolutely insulting smh there will NEVER be a 4th time..even if it was free

One of our favorite places to eat out. The food and staff are amazing and treat us like family when we’re there. We started ordering from Carriage Inn during Covid, and have had pretty exemplary service for each of our visits/orders throughout. For the very few times we’ve had issues, with an order for example, they’ve sought to remedy the issue with us. So honestly this place is pretty awesome all around. It’s difficult to identify when the busy hours are here admittedly, there could be a private party for example that takes up a lot of seats and makes the atmosphere more noisy, and during those times the parking lot is a bit of a nightmare to be honest. We just had to abandon our wait there today since there was no movement in the line, and we were stuck waiting outside (we have backup locations at least). However, I’m personally happy to see them thriving when so many other businesses didn’t survive the pandemic.

Fish sandwich was overcooked and it took almost an hour to get our food once we ordered. They were very busy and it was extremely LOUD in there. We couldn't even really carry on a conversation. We will go again but not if they're jam packed. Today is Friday, 2/4 at lunch time. This pizza is outstanding! This fish sandwich is a good that they call "small". Look how big! 5/3/2022 went there for a book signing w/ my sister. It was a lovely lovely event. We both loved the entire program and talking with the author. The hors d'oeurves were delicious and all the ladies who were there were very nice and we all talked & laughed all evening.

I was so impressed last evening at dinner. The restaurant was so busy, but everyone was helping (servers, kitchen staff, and manager(?). I saw the manager (?) on his hands and knees cleaning under a table! All the staff wore smiles even though they were continously running. Our server was attentive and so very nice! I see you Carriage Inn! Nice job! Additionally, the food was delicious!
