We went for a breakfast and we were pleasantly surprised by the brunch selection. The place definitely has a strong french influence, although the dishes don't follow a strict french tradition but they are excellent. The orders came with a fresh and welcome fruit salad. The coffee was great as they have a good espresso machine. Would come back!
We had breakfast there and it was awesome! We ordered the Polish sausage omelet and they were served with fruits / hash brown. The omelettes had perfect proportion of the sausage, cheese and spinach, it was delicious! The hash brown was crunchy, the toasts were buttery crispy. Yum!
We ate 1/3 of my breakfast and then we were told that someone smashed our car! I still managed to finish another bite before rushing out to see what happened. What I worried about was the pastry that I bought earlier in the same plaza being stolen. Were people that hungry? I had my computer in the trunk and there was no way someone would see it.
The pastries were still there, but my computer in the trunk was gone! The thief must have seen me taking out my laptop from the front seat and hid it in the trunk. Never leave any valuables in the car including the trunk!
The cafe staff and the customers were very nice and sympathetic. The manager even insisted that we don’t pay for the food.
We wrapped the 2/3 of the food and was mad that the thief ruined our breakfast experience. Don’t get me wrong, I’m still very upset about my computer and the hard drives that had my life’s work.
We decide to go to the cafe again and not let anyone ruin the experience.
Last but not least, my message to the thief: you’d better be caught by the cops than robbing the wrong guy next time!
Love their selection for breakfast; some of the best biscuits and gravy around. You have to try the hashbrown or home fires upgrades. The service is great, very attentive and friendly. Dining option inside and outside. It can get pretty busy, but the wait is usually not long. Two minute wait on a busy Saturday around 11am.
Great vegan options and hearty food. Exactly what you expect and want in a breakfast place. The vegan scramble was amazing and really appreciate the beyond sausage and just egg, while also offering regular options for those that eat meat and eggs.
Visiting from out of town and stopped by for breakfast. Service was great and the food was even better!
Stumbled in here on our way to San Pablo Reservoir. Fresh healthy food, lots of smiles from the staff, and an upbeat energy with the guests. Have a specific vegan menu too (but the omnivore food is the primary menu). So glad we stopped! Will come again.
We hired Cafe Soleil to cater our wedding, and I cannot say enough good things about our experience. From the very beginning, Cecy (event manager) and Jennifer (owner) were incredibly patient, responsive, detail-oriented, and helpful. Our wedding planning process was drawn out due to COVID, and over the course of it we exchanged what felt like hundreds of emails with endless questions from me. I had a vision and a few particular requests and they did the perfect job of accommodating but also providing thoughtful feedback when a particular request might lead to a poor guest experience.
On the day of and after, I got so many compliments on the food. Guests were amazed with how everything (especially the tri tip) was so warm, juicy, and tender. It was absolutely delicious and my only regret as a bride is not eating more while I had the chance. I could not recommend Cade Soleil more for your wedding or event!
