Come here for the happy hour all day Monday and the great portion sizes and value! Good: Tons of variety - my favorite was the Dynamite since it had tasty scallop pieces and was also just like so much flavor. The Dragon roll was pretty awesome too. I liked the philly one too. The sushi here also just tastes super fresh so it's definitely a great option. Bad: Does take some time for food to arrive - it is still a good experience - though we ordered 4 rolls and it took around an hour for all of it to arrive. Overall would come again if I was in the area!

I never not order this when I come to Kagura. The albacore carpaccio. Kagura is my most favorite Japanese restaurant between LAX and MB. The lunch menu is different & so are the prices. Got people not brave enough to try some sashimi or just not down wish sushi? It's OK. They've got a good selection of bento box options. The cod. The katsu. All taste great. Portions are large here. I lucked out one day at lunch seeing Chef to the Amazon, Alex Atala enjoying it. Sometimes I meet clients here from Japan who like to eat here when they're in town for business. This is not the type of place you'll find your... Westernized sushi butchered with 20 different sweet eel mayo sauces and drizzled all over a California roll. This place is more traditionally prepared.

Small Japanese restaurant. Very high quality food. The inside has 2 U-shaped community tables, a few booths on the side, and a sushi counter. Outside there are two tables as well. I came to this restaurant because another Google review suggested they had good ramen. Unfortunately that was incorrect, they don't serve ramen, although they do have udon and soba. I ended up getting the Katsu Curry Gozen, which is a set that included katsu curry, miso soup, a green salad, 4 pieces of sashimi, and some root vegetables in a light broth. It was delicious and came out very quickly. Would visit again

Friendly service for a quick lunch on a Tuesday! This place was about $11/pp for a sushi roll. But it was delicious and tasted very fresh! Great spot on the main drag.

I enjoy the privacy of the interior seating plan. Sushi roll selection is very small but was all high quality. Only one sushi chef but it is still pandemic staffing.

This is hands down my favorite Japanese place in El Segundo. The main attraction are the huge gozen meals. They come with a wide variety of small side dishes and really let you explore cusiune you might never know about. The fish quality is top notch. The staff is very friendly.

Excellent, fresh sushi! Great service as well! We had the Tuna Tataki, blue crab, spicy tuna, albacore and hamachi. All were delicious topped off with a cold beer and sake.

Great food! Been back multiple times to enjoy the great atmosphere and amazing quality of food. Service has been excellent every time. Below pictured is the hamachi gozen, the hot tempura soba noodles, and the sashimi gozen. The main meals as well as the side dishes were high quality and delicious.
