Food was amazing! I had shrimp fajitas and the wife had eggs with hashbrowns, beans, and bacon.. The price I had paid for the amount of shrimp on my plate, and the presentation wasn't the best..... buuuuut the food was delicious all the same!

No MSG. Mexican and American surf and turf. Pleasant staff. Low prices for good quality. Its hard to find a restaurant that doesn’t use MSG. I go here for food now because i can count on not having MSG side effects of afterwards hunger- i feel very full with this food. I choose La Playita over Casi
Staff is very sweet and attentive. We visit this place very often, due to it being my grandmother's favorite place to eat. Their refried beans are her favorite! Absolutely love their food. Very homemade taste. NOTHING shipped to this restaurant, frozen & then microwaved, like a lot of the chains. The service is good & it isn't super packed. Always a table or two open. The prices are fair & the portions are good.
Excellent service, great tasting food and clamato preparado. Rice and beans as simple as they are, are not all great, but they do a great job here you can tell they are freshly made. So if the sides are good the main dish is even better. Having a filete a la diabla was great and the shrimp cockta
ordered a large shrimp cocktail to go but the cup was almost the size of a shot glass! jk not that small but fairly small! the taste of it was really good, i must say.
Myself, and my wife have been going here since were dating. It may look like a small place, but these people are always big at heart. I don't remember a time that we went there that we were not treated like family, I enjoy a good bowl of siege mares, and sometimes, just a plate of tacos.

Shrimp a la diabla was delicious and pretty spicy! The shrimp cocktail was very good too but I didn't like that the shrimp in that was not deveined.
The best shrimp cocktails!! If you are looking for five star service you won't get it here, but what you will get is nice people, amazing food, great drinks.
Open Dine-in, they are doing what is best for themselves, their employees, and customers following social distancing guidelines. I recommend it, they have delicious food, great service and very clean.
Their sea food is good, my favorite are the shrimp cocktails, Ive never tasted them better then I have here, they are just uniquely prepared :)
