Review Cafe Korea - El Paso

Food is amazing. The host was so kind. She cooked our bbq at the table for us. If it's busy than you have to cook on your own. It's BYOB and we bought Soju from the local Korean market. Our dinner was beyond words. Definitely coming back with friends. The whole dinner felt like a movie. Thank you so much.

Delicious food and lovely service. Vegetarian options were scarce but very good, but I think vegan options were almost non-existing. Went with a friend who lived in Korea and he said it's pretty authentic.

Very good Korean Restaurant. All the food was delicious. Just wish this were an all you can eat joint.

Very good Korean cuisine. We enjoyed all the meals we ordered. The service is good and the waitresses are nice and friendly. The only thing I’m not satisfied with is they seems to lack of manpower and it takes a long time to come and take our orders and also a long wait until we got our meals.

The food and service were both so wonderful. I want to make this a regular spot for my family. We loved it and will be going back!

Always an amazing experience with this restaurant. The servicer meet you right away at the door and sirs you down. Food is always fresh and hot and they always ask if you want additional sides for the Korean BBQ. You can choose to cook food yourself or have them cook for you as per traditional Korean cafe style. They had green tea as well and other drinks available. It's worth to just dine in as taking your time to save and enjoy the food is worth it. you don't have to dress fancy unless you want to so just come as you are. No reservations needed as they are plenty of seating.

Quaint little place nestled off of Dyer, next to the Walmart. The service was wonderful, a family owned and operated business. Super friendly, and the food was delicious! We got the dumplings as an appetizers, they are homemade and crispy. Then the combination C dish. It came with 4 sides of protein, soup and all the fixings/condiments you need. They bring out a little gas stove and grilled the meat at the table for us, and refilled all the side when we asked. I would highly recommend this place, I will make the trip from the far east here again!

The staff was so sweet and friendly and the food was absolutely exquisite! I highly recommend everyone to try this place it is pricey but the quality and experience justifies the price. ❤️

Best Korean food in El Paso , I highly recommend you reading the reviews and getting an idea of what food you want to order before hand . If you never had Korean food the menu might confuse you . Lucky for you they also have pictures on the wall of what’s on the menu , so you can see what plate you think you would want to try . Amazing delicious food, full of flavor and my server was the sweetest lady ever ! Will be back again. . Even got dessert , little round donuts . Oh and the portions of the food is plenty . Appetizer where great , the beef bulgogi was good, and what’s in the skillet is my favorite Dak Gaulbi. You have to cook it but so worth it ! Hope this helps you decide. Thank you cafe Korea (:

We got one of the beef Korean BBQ for two portions. Plenty of food for two very hungry adults and plenty of sides for great taste.

My mom and I have seen this place for years and always wanted to try. I have traveled to other big cities that have some pretty good/authentic Korean BBQ, so I was interested to try this out especially this last year or so of being back in El Paso. I'm so happy we tried it, it was so good! We got the bulgogi and we were able to cook it ourselves. They don't have the grills built into the table like most places I've been, but their table top burner and stone grill was still so efficient and easy to use. The staff was super friendly and helpful, especially since my mom never had Korean BBQ in this style. It is not all you can eat, but honestly, the portions they gave us (sides, rice, meat) was perfect for the two of us! Definitely consider getting the combos if you have more than 2 people joining you. My mom was especially surprised and pleased with the steamed egg. We loved everything and my mom is excited to go back again. For our dish, including tip and tax, we paid about $43-45, which we felt was fair considering how full we got with everything served. We are definitely excited to go back!

Hidden gem of El Paso. Food is really good. I mean really good. Not perfect but it ticks off the boxes. Friendly and attentive staff. Good sweet tea. Didn't have a long wait. Food is good and flavorful. Minor seasoning issues but this is certainly a good place to go to. Nice ambiance. Yes, this place is expensive and I wouldn't come on a regular basis due to the prices. However, this is so much on the menu that coming once is not good enough.

first time here & will be back! so far the best korean place here in el paso. we ordered Egg Rolls & Chadolbagi & 2 bottled waters and our total was only $46 with all this food! the meat we ordered came with soup, rice, sides and egg. my boyfriend and i eat a LOT but we left full:) the korean waitress helped us cook our meat and offered us more side dishes for the ones we liked. she was very straightforward and nice i dont know why other reviews complain about her

The food was delicious. It took us a bit to decide on what we wanted to eat. They have pictures and names on the walls of their dishes to help with choosing. We had to wait to be seated and waited a bit more after being seated. It gets really busy and it didn't seem like they have alot of wait staff. We were ok with waiting, it was worth it. The older staff are friendly and will answer any questions you have.

I love good Korean food, and this is good Korean food. When you walk in, the tables are spaced out very nicely and the ambiance is good. Downside on the ambiance, they play the Korean bands channel and sometimes get over enthusiastic with the volume on the tv, but they turned it down 3 times while we were there. The food came out hot and the kimchi was great. The bean stew was still actually boiling in the pot as it was brought to my table! The mackerel was delicious and I tried part of the 28, also delicious. On the door as you walk in, they inform you that the price increase is so that they can pay their employees better and because of the inventory. I can only respect any local business that does this and will continue to support them; however when the price tag for a table of 2 comes out to over $50, I'm not going to be able to support them as often.

With never trying Korean food before, this was quite the adventure. So many great flavors I've never tasted before. The spicy pork was flavorful and the miso soup was good too. The best part was the waiter Elijo, stellar customer service. I would only suggest adding some Korean beverages to the menu for the Korean experience.

I would rate it 6-stars if possible. One of the best Korean restaurants! Must try it out if you are around. (1) The staffs were kind and friendly. They explained the menu in detail and recommended some dishes, all of them were very good. (2) The soft tofu soup was very tasty and flavorful. It had a strong seafood flavor, which I loved a lot! (3) The stirred fried squids were fresh and very chewy. The sauce was sweet and spicy. Highly recommend if you like seafood. (4) The dolpanbibimbop was amazing. The rice at the bottom of the stone plate became really crispy and I loved it! (5) Lots of delicious side dishes. All of the side dishes were very good and authentic. My Korean bf really enjoyed it too!
