The Ribs Steakhouse

Just moved here 3 weeks ago from the Austin area. Had to try it out because well it’s Texas BBQ! Got the Jalapeño Sausage Sandwich, fries and a drink for less thank 8 bucks! Service was great, atmosphere was awesome, bathrooms were clean. Staff was professional and never let my glass go half empty. Bread was soft, fries were fresh, BBQ sauce on-point.

Don’t be mislead by previous reviews. Go and try for yourself! Myself and my family went and enjoyed everything from service to food and even cleanliness. If you’re looking for a famous Dave’s or even Dickey’s copycat then you won’t be satisfied. It’s a local restaurant where the food tastes homemade like if you went over to a friends house or grandmas for some bbq. Not too salty or too many seasonings to overcompensate. They let the meat be what it is. Garlic mashed potatoes are very garlicky so if that isn’t your cup of tea they have plenty of other options. Green beans were fresh and not canned. Overall we left satisfied and full. Will be going back.

Wonderful service. The chicken fried steak was a bit tough but the sausage was delicious. The brisket was good and so was the turkey but just loved the mashed potatoes! They have some potato chunks with the skin and loaded with garlic. If you don't like garlic don't order them but if you luv garlic (like me) these are some of the best!

Our waitress... I LOVED her service. What I noticed and liked about her, is while she was waiting for the rest of my party to decide on their order she took it upon herself to crack open a few peanuts for my 91 yr old grandma, making that connection memorable. The food here is delicious. They aren't shy with their portions. Also, I mentioned that I was allergic to pork and when the cook added sausage to my plate she noticed it before I did and she took it back and had them remake it with only brisket. Bravo!! I didn't mind the wait knowing my plate was going to be made right.

Went there yesterday, I saw all of the Crappy reviews but decided to try some Beef Ribs anyway. Ordered a full rack for $27.95 and you get 4 sides and cornbread. Ribs were very meaty and large. They were hot and juicy. I used their regular BBQ sauce and they were very good. Sides were good as well. These ribs were as good or better than the State Line or American Land and Cattle. Pleasantly surprised. .!!! We will go back again for 2 dollar rib night on Thursdays. ..!!! I would recommend you trying them out...

The brisket and the sausage here is amazing. I've been back twice now. Even now, the pork ribs are great. Beef ribs are a bit tough though. The price and quality are definitely worth it all. The cornbread is also delicious. Only real complaint is that the sides can be bland. I had the asadero Mac and cheese, tasted like nothing. The beans were also pretty okay. But if you're looking for the main dishes, the meat is great! Plus there's never a wait here, lots of seating.
