Review Chubb's Bb-q - El Paso

J.C. Inc.
Wow. This place is an hidden Puerto Rican gem. Off of Dyer St by the Walmart, this food is surprisingly amazing. The garlic chicken and the slow roasted pork are my go tos. I will be back tomorrow to order empanadas and tostones as they where out since we go here just after the military lunch rush. Definitely would recommend. 10/5

I was in El Paso for work looking for a decent place to eat. Found El Coqui and was surprised of how right the got the food. I had pernil y arroz con gandules and the seasoning was on par with seasoning on the Island. Owner is super chill and very corteuos

Ive been to a lot of puertorrican restaurant here in Texas and in Ohio and this golden location has it all. The feel, the food and the customer service. At first price may seem high (there are reasonable )... But let me tell you is perfect the quantity is amazing. From only one plate two people can eat!!! But dont just order one plate, do yourself a favor and try the mofongo!! Is amazing. Truly a wonderful place to experience homemade puertorrican food.

Great service and good food. Feels like home. We had pernil and arroz con gandules and it was amazing. It came with aguacate and a very nice salad. Flavors were on point and owner was very nice and made us feel welcome. Will definitely be back.

So delicious... So hard to choose what to eat... They have Pernil, Monfongo, Churrasco, Bistec... rice and beans...soooo delicious. I had to have my sweet fried plantains and Malta India (they also have Champagne Soda!) Homestyle atmosphere with Salsa playing in the background. Friendly staff...a MUST EAT for El Paso... Thank you

If your looking for an authentic street food taste and feel, this is it. Owner is a good friendly guy. Smaller selection but tastes are genuine. Parking is tight but you can park across the street in the plaza.

Delicious food, good portions. Friendly customer service. Left my backpack there with my wallet, cash and keys in it, when I went back a good while later the owner had set it aside and was waiting for me. Honorable. πŸ™πŸ½

Was greeted with a big smile and good food. Super tasty selection of fresh Peurto Rican Food at great prices, and the guy even let me try the meats I was interested in beforehand. Great food, service and hole-in-the-wall atmosphere. Love it!

Surprisingly filling and very delicious. The salsa (you have to ask for it) is VERY good and totally MADE the meal for me. The restaurant doesn't pretend to be anything fancy or spectacular....but the food sure is good.

Great rice & beans, onion steak, yucca & alcapurias. I have ordered several trays of Pernil (baked pulled shoulder pork) for parties & gatherings...a hit...delicious! A favorite spot when I am in the Northeast. Reasonably priced.

Great taste and service, friendly ownership and a lot of food for the price. We have been in different Puertorican Restaurants in the area for several years. This is the best we had found. Good job to the owners and God bless you guys.
