Review La Malinche - El Paso

Matthew Bowers (Matt)
The chips were a bit stale, but the chile salsa was tasty, and hot, but not too hot. I had the chef salad, my family had enchiladas and tacos deshebrada. Both family members said their food was tasty and enjoyable. I too liked the chef salad. Plenty of fresh veggies, and the chicken was nicely pan fried. Prices were reasonable, and for the 3 of us, including drinks and the tip, the totally came out to $40.

Food is always very good and portions are good amount. Prices are very reasonable. Been coming here for years and never dissapointed. All the waiters are always very nice and attentive. The manager/owner is always making sure we are doing okay and walking around to see if we need anything. Menudo on Sundays and the Steak Ranchero are the best !

The service was good. The food was great. I enjoyed the hot Mexican plate with an extra shredded beef fried soft taco, while my mother had the beg fajita plate. Wow. A memorable experience at La Malinche!

I really love their huevos rancheros. It's their breakfast special Monday through Friday and with coffee it comes out to $7 and some change. The only reason I didn't give it five stars it's because it doesn't matter if I ask for the eggs over medium they still send them out with some of the white part of the eggs not cooked.

Been coming to eat here for years and always get the best service and food. Steak tacos and the hamburger steak is the best ! Very clean and friendly service . The manager is always very attentive and making sure everything is good .

The service was excellent and the food was wonderful. I had the steak tacos and they were delicious. I've been here before for breakfast and their enchiladas montadas and huevos rancheros are also great. Their Mexican caldo is the best!

When I lived on the West side I felt lucky to have found La Malinche. After having moved to the NE side I was relieved to see La Malinche there as well. It's gooood. From the freshly made Iced Tea to the perfectly seasoned Soup and the well made Refried Beans. Then, there is the Huevos Rancheros and...well, Everything Else. Last but certainly not least is the Service. Go see for yourself!

My family and I have been going to Malinche for over 18 years and the food is good and priced very reasonable. Our favorite is going on Sunday mornings and eating their Menudo. The restaurant is clean and the waitreses are friendly.

I have been eating at this location for over twenty five years.  It is consistently good and is also the site of my first date with my wife twenty five years ago today.  I recommend the chiles rellenos, they are excellent and in fact I am going to go have some today.

Taste like they just "gave up" at the Dyer location. No tortillas, chips or salsa, pico de gallo nada, with your meal, the only item on the dish that had any flavor was the cheese. No condiments except for salt and pepper, I guess they think their that good. Their is just no flavor or zest, supper disappointing, no pride coming out of that kitchen. <br/>If you want amazing authentic Mexican food in the NE go to KIKI's on Piedras or the Burrito House just a little further down the road on Dyer, Gallegos on Dyer, or THE LUNCH BOX.

Bad service, dirty. The table was dirty the entire time we were there. The spilled bowl of chips stayed on the floor the entire time, waitresses just kept walking around it and the manager kept playing with her hair and then serving food to the customers. Customer service was aweful to.

Best Flautas Ever. When I come home from Nashville, TN, my first place I love to go is the Malinche in the Northeast. Its the most authentic Mexican food out of my mothers kitchen. I highly recommend this restaurant... I give it five stars :)
