Toro Burger Bar

My husband and I wanted to try something new so we decided to try this place! Let me let you, this is the best place we have ever been to in El Paso! We’ve lived here for almost a year now and nothing compares to this place! Our waiter was amazing and so friendly! The elk burger and Mac and cheese were fantastic! 10/10 we will be back!

Our Waiter(Xavier) went above and beyond. He let us know while we were chatting about the burgers that he was just starting out and even tho he's been here just a small time. His service quality was higher than many places I've been. He seemed really happy, not in a fake customer service way, but a genuine way, like we'd been friends for years. I'm going to remember this, and if I see him again, I'm going to give him a higher tip(50 or 60%) and I'll thank him even more. In fact, he deserves freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. A slice of red velvet cake with a creamy cheesecake frosting poured over top. It Is Christmas time after all. So I really hope he'll see this. Cause if he does, I want to treat him to a dessert(even tho he's already sweet). Service workers deserve the world, especially after all we're put through. Coming here every Tuesday has been my tradition for a while. I absolutely love the $2 Tuesday draft deal they have, and the 69 cent wings are great too, although they have decreased in size as of recent which is a bummer. And if you have the luck to be served by Alexa, you can guarantee that she will take care of you! A+ service always!

Good food. I've gone a few times and have tried a few burgers, the stuffed jalapeños, and the Buffalo Mac. Nothing necessarily blew me away but everything was pretty good. They don't (didn't when we were there) have beer or alcohol menus and the server didn't seem to know anything about what they offer (for the alcohol). She referred us to a wall with fancy names but even that didn't say what was what. The server was very attentive however with otherwise great service. Food comes out pretty quick. I'd recommend it.

First time trying Toro. The floor was sticky and gross. The burgers were great. Got the AAA and the green chile and we split them. Our server Alexa was wonderful. She was attentive but not overbearing. The beer selection was great. I was WAY impressed to see Temptress on tap. Overall I liked Toro and will definitely return.

Had the wild bore burger... it didn't wow me, but it was well prepared and had decent flavor and was not dry. I also had a side house salad that was very good. The only critic on the salad would be that the lettuce should have been crisped up by soaking in an ice water bath for a minute or so prior to preparing. I look forward to going back and trying another dish from their menu
