Review Trattoria Bella Sera - El Paso

Had never been to this place before but read and heard a lot of hype. Let me tell you, it’s true. This place was perfect for my family. We visited on a busy Friday evening, were sat within half an hour., served accordingly. My kids loved the ravioli and lasagna they had. The salmon I ordered was straight out of a cook book. Tasted great. My wife actually ate the leftover pasta we had and she never does. Can’t wait to go again.!

Great service, atmosphere, appetizers, entrees, and desserts. Service was impeccable and food delicious. Took a party of 3 to lunch. I had the mussels appetizer, which was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The others in my party had the chicken Angelo, which they said was delicious. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

Food was excellent, service was on point. Truly one of the best Italian restaurants I have ever eaten in Texas

Everything was amazing!! So flavorful! Amazing sauces, soups, and bread!! It's one of the best Italian restaurants I've ever been to. Cute atmosphere, with reasonable prices. A must try!

1st time eating here. The menu has plenty of options. I had the Mario Special and my husband had the Cioppino. Everything was delicious 😋 Oh and the bread is served with an olive oil mixture with garlic and rosemary. We will definitely be returning!

First time here and I was NOT disappointed. The bread they bring out before the meal was freshly made and had garlic and butter on it. I had the fettuccine bolognese and it was the best I've ever had! Incredible. My friend ate the margherita pizza and it was also delicious. The waiter was very attentive and friendly, too. I will definitely be going back and I highly recommend it. I know this may seem trivial to many but the iced tea was freshly brewed and that's very important to me. Extra kudos for that! **Went back and had the calamari, and it's definitely delicious. Also tried the Veal Parmigiano and I really enjoyed it, too. My mom had the Segovia Pasta and it's her favorite dish. Kudos to Jason for always being so attentive and awesome.

We were seated right away. Our server Daniel was excellent. He took our order of angel hair & meatballs & ciopinno. Brought over our drinks and warm fresh bread. Then our food. It was all very delicious. The meatballs were so tender the sauce and pasta was perfect. The tomato broth was very flavorful & truly a delight in this dreary weather.

I normally get Segovia here, it was pretty good. Comes with plenty of seafood. Calamari was hot and crispy. My husband loves their Caprese, so do I. It was fresh and dressing was absolutely amazing. We came back last night and tomato soup was even better than last time. However, I decided to try their Carbonara (I was craving for it) and it made me disappointed. Carbonara doesn’t taste like it, more likely spaghetti stir with bacon for me, and salty. The creamy egg yolk was separated from oil. Sauce didn’t stick on pasta. When the waitress brought the dishes out, it looked like it was sitting on hot window for a minute. They were nice offering me other dish. I heard the party next to us got Scampi when their waiter dropped their meal so decided to get it cause it is one of my favourite dishes. It came out pretty quickly with 4 jumbo shrimps, but again, not what I was expected. It was very salty alfredo sauce instead of white wine, garlic, lemon, butter scampi sauce. This was totally on me to not look at their menu better. Overall last night visit was ok. Didn’t get the main dish as what I was looking for but our waitress delivered a wonderful service and the hostess was very nice since the moment we got in until we left so it was huge plus.

UPDATE: I posted the BELOW review 3 WEEKS AGO. We decided to go back, we noticed that they listened and UPDATED their PARKING LOT and made it HANDICAP FRIENDLY. Now it’s HANDICAP VAN ACCESSIBLE. This is why I changed my review from 2/5 to 4/5. I would have given this restaurant a 5 if it wasn’t for (manager) Mario. In addition, NOT HANDICAP FRIENDLY, may not meet ADA COMPLIANT due to parking. Service is fair, food is Delicious! Great music (opera/classical) and ambience. Parking is Horrible ESPECIALLY HANDICAP. Very tight to get out. It appears our vehicle (parked in handicap) was even hit by a door. I asked the restaurant if they could help me in this situation, Manager Mario said “it’s not our fault, we are not liable,” while a server in the back said “yeah!” I never asked nor said it was the restaurant’s fault. He came off as very unprofessional and rude. This is why it’s a 2/5

This place is AMAZING! No other place in El Paso can top this place! I recently visited from out of town and my family took me here & I ordered the Lobster Bisque! It was so delicious and I just had to thank the person who made it! His name is Juan Franco!!!! Hands down the best chef there!!!!

May I just say... Best Italian place in ALL of EL Paso. The Chicken Alfredo was exquisite, truly delicious. My husband and I just had to thank the chef who made such a tasty dish. His name is Juan Franco. Keep up the excellent work Mister Franco.

Great Italian food and wine is $5 a glass on Tuesdays. I had the seafood soup, which in most restaurants means a lot of liquid with a few pieces of seafood, but this was chalk full of seafood. Bread is excellent. Prices are reasonable for a good restaurant.

Food is always freshly made! Great services and love the atmosphere. I always like what I get that I am not afraid to try something new each time! Good flavors, very delicious. Make sure you try the Coconut Tea!

I swear the diamonds in the rough you find when you’re really looking for them. The service was amazing. I choose to “pick my pasta” from the menu. Food came out fresh and very timely from the kitchen staff themselves. The food felt like home cooking. I would definitely recommend this spot for first dates, family dinners, or a night out with friends.

Great service, great food. The pizza in the picture is the Quattro Stagioni If you are a fan of the lobster bisque, then this is the place to go. Everything is prepared well, and the flavors are on point.

Yummmmm. Was pretty delicious. Fam of 4 went during the lunch specials. Such a beautiful place. Our waitress was very attentive. Not once did we have to ask for a refill on our drinks. She was right there. Started off with their delicious bread with their dipping oil, soups and salads. I had the minestrone it was full of veggies and a nice thick soup. My husband had a seafood soup and it was chock-full of seafood,. My daughter had the creamy tomato w/ basil soup. Everyone was satisfied with their selection. Onto the entrees. My husband and I ordered the lunch special lasagna and it was so good it arrived nice and bubbly hot. My son ordered the lobster ravioli off the regular menu and thoroughly enjoyed it. My daughter had the spaghetti and two huge meatballs. She thought it was a little on the dry side but good nontheless. The price for the four of us was $54 before tip. Which I thought was great. This was a whole lot better than Olive Garden. Highly recommend.

It was the saddest experience ever...when my mouth ran out of food and wine. I ate everything. I savored every drip of the paired wine chosen for us. Just sad. All good things must come to an end. The mushroom appetizer - simple, bursting with flavor! Wine Wednesday...yes please! My absolute favorite Pollo Marsala, perfect once again! The canolli... The crispy sweet smooth sad ending, the realization that my meal is over, that i will have to patiently wait till next time to dazzle my mouth such delicious culinary experiences. Thank you fir a beautiful evening. Until next time...

If you are looking for some good Italian food I highly recommend this place. The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. Don't let the exterior of the building/restaurant fool you it's a must try! Definitely going back.

This was the best meal I've had in a long time doesn't look like much from the outside Mom and Pop shop where food and service matter more than decor I loved it beyond my wildest imagination the best thing El Paso has to offer
