El Jacalito has the best food in El Paso! Breakfast or lunch, El Jacalito will not disappoint!!! The huevos rancheros, chile colorado or entomatadas, coupled with some of caldo tlapeno, are just a few of the delicious items on the menu! I come here at least two or three times when I'm in town!
Aside from having good food their wait staff is great; fast, courteous and very attentive. The salsa is super delicious, the place is constantly full so you can only assume that products haven't been sitting in their fridge too long. Will keep going back when in the mood for good local Mexican food.
Really enjoyed my breakfast. I had the Migas plate with a flour tortilla and loved it!! Reminded me of my time in Austin only these were better. Jessi was very nice and kept that coffee cup filled. Then space has a very welcoming, local owned neighborhood vibe going on. Very affordable and daily specials. I’ll be back!
My aunt and uncle the twins and I, enjoy going to lunch. This time I wanted to try out a different Mexican Restaurant. My Aunt knew where to go. Chicken Enchiladas. All three of us ordered the same thing. The meal comes with Caldo de Rez. Great decision tia.

This place surprised me. Fast service. The taste of the food felt like my mom was working in the kitchen. I'm posting recent menu with current prices. I liked the detail in the ceiling. I will definitely go back.
If you like hole in the wall this is your place. Was there for Saturday morning breakfast and the huevos rancheros did not disappoint. The bigger surprise was breakfast came with a small bowl of menudo. I am not a fan and have done research around town to change my mind. This place had the best menudo in the city, hands down. Very small location in south El Paso. Absolutely worth a try. Cannot wait to return for lunch!!

Delicious and authentic Mexican food with phenomenal service. Space was just a bit dirty. I got huevos rancheros and it was fantastic! I'd still highly recommend checking them out!

Very unassuming little place. But the breakfast and the coffee were delicious. Kinda place that has a lot of regulars.
