Sunny's Sushi, Steak, & Seafood

We arrived with a party of 12 on a Sunday, mid-afternoon and were not expecting the restaurant to be very busy. It was, and we were on the fence about going to another place due to the wait when Rudy, the GM stepped in and ensured we were sat promptly by reorganizing some tables. Our server, Destiny, was amazing. Most folks know that sometimes when you’re out with a large party, things can get out of hand—food comes out at different times, orders forgotten, etc. Absolutely none of that happened during our visit. Perfect service and a great customer experience from beginning to end. Absolutely recommend this place for anyone looking for great food and dining experience.

My husband recommended Sunny’s as a good sushi spot and highly recommended their crab Rangoon. I absolutely love crab Rangoon so of course I gave in and decided to give them a try! We visited on a weeknight for dinner and were seated right away. The restaurant was fairly busy for it being a weeknight but the service was still great! Our waiter came out right away to get our drink order. I asked him for a recommendation for their flavored Sake and he suggested the white peach so I ordered that. It was good! Very strong. But I liked it. My husband and I each got our own order of crab Rangoon. Let me tell you, they did NOT disappoint! I’d honestly get two orders just for myself, it was so delicious. For my main dish I got the California roll. I know, I’m very basic. But honestly it is my favorite! I think we may have come on an off day for them because the rice used for the sushi rolls was a bit dry. But it wasn’t unbearable. They also give free miso soup and pickled cucumbers. Very tasty! I’d definitely come back for their crab Rangoon alone! Service was great too, I’ll be back again.

The manager and staff at this location are awesome! I have enjoyed every single meal! The food never disappoints. I recommend the Buldogi Dong & the crispy green beans. The atmosphere is vibrant, fun, and welcoming. There's a small wait at times. Definitely worth it though. Out of all the locations across town. This one is my favorite!
