The place was elegant,staff very friendly,owner was walking by making sure our order came out right and that that we were satisfied. I was very please we ordered meal of the day steak wrapped in bacon and we aldo had fajitas. It was great place to celebrate labor day.
Got there and was asked where I wanted to sit, then saw a simple menu with a great variety to choose from. Had the calamari, mozz sticks, and Prime Rib sandwich. It was all delicious and the staff was super friendly and attentive. Be prepared to spend some money as they are a bit pricey. But worth it!
Best steak I've had in El Paso... new ownership. Great service. I am floored. Happy belly.. my server was the greatest.. my steak was cooked to perfection. Met the new owner and she is so welcoming and involved. You really see the passion she has for her new place.. and the workers like to work and come to their job. Kudos all around.. bought the cooks a round of beers also. They deserve it for the great food.
I want to thank you for making Mother's Day so great for my mom and family. Even though there was a wait for our table and our food, it was definitely worth the wait! The entire staff was so friendly even though it was so hectic. Our food was delicious and prepared to perfection. Our server, Humberto, was fantastic. We will be back in the future.
Went for dinner with my husband and our ribeyes even though they were not the right temperature were great. The seasoning they use on top is pretty darn awesome. Wish they had some early bird options and maybe even some happy hour items.
This was hands down the best steak I have ever had. They had wonderful service as well. 😊 can’t wait to come back!

We arrived 5 min after closing and as we pulled up the lights were turned out. But just as we were going to leave they opened the door and said Come on in! Best meal I have had in long time. The Ribeye had a great flavor and the shrimp cocktail was a 10 on a scale of 10. Will be back
Mouth watering and delicious!. I had their ribeye and I have to say one of the very few meals that I took my time to devour. Very flavorful meat with very good sides. The waiter was very friendly and attentive to our needs. The setting of the restaurant was very clean and nice.
Service is possible the best in El Paso (possibly due to our server named Charles). The food was amazing and the enviroment and atmosphere is alive. Brisket and Country Fried Steak were on point. The Crab Artichoke Dip was bland but none the less delicious. Get in your car now and go try it. Worth the 45 minute drive anyday.
Great Food!!!. This has become my wife Cindy & I favorite place to go for a good steak. The service is outstanding and they really portray a family atmosphere. I tell all my friends about this restaurant because if you haven't been there you are really missing out on something special!!!
The food was EXCELLENT!!! I ate the KC Strip cooked medium and it melted in my mouth. It was DELICIOUS. I had the pineapple slaw and loaded baked potatoe for sides and they were great. Justin our server was excellent and very attentive. I will definitely go back and encourage others to go as well.
Terrific!. Six people in our party. Delicious steaks, shrimp and salmon all around, adequate portions too. Fair, reasonable pricing. Friendly, nicely paced service, even live music the Saturday night we were there. My wife and I had several glasses of wine which were generous in size, not dainty like some places. Great desserts too, we'll definitely be back.

Make sure they're open before you drive out here. The Edge of Texas is a long way out from the city if you don't live on the North Side, and twice, I've been burnt by driving out and forgetting they're only open on certain days of the week, so be careful!
But anyway, the first time I was there was back in 2006 when we had a military Hail and Farewell. I ordered a steak which I remember tasting pretty good. The last time I ate there was a year and a half ago and that time, I got the pork ribs. They were good, but they seemed too "chain-restaurant" tasting for a place that is owned by the legendary Bowens. I actually spoke with a waitress that night who informed me that the beef served in the restaurant no longer comes from the Bowen Ranch! How in the world do they have 8800 acres and don't use their own beef? Whatever the reason is, this would explain why they don't serve beef ribs here either, which puts them down a peg on my list compared to Cattlemen's or State Line.
Regardless, I wish the best for this place because I did like the atmosphere and I want them to remain in business because of its unique and nostalgic placement in El Paso.

Great Atmosphere. Their chicken fried steak is spot on...not many places know how to get the gravy right, but Edge of Texas does. This is a real Texas steakhouse owned by a legitimate rancher family.

Fantastic. A great place to go and hang out. The Bowen family has decorated up the dining room with tons of western and family memorabilia. Every time we've been there, Mrs. Bowen has always made a round of the tables to make sure everyone was having a great time. Really makes you feel welcome and at home there. The food is very tasty. Everything we've tried has been wonderful...from seafood to steaks. A definite experience!

We had a very enjoyable meal at Edge of Texas. The service was excellent, as was the food. The bill was quite reasonable for all the food (and beverage) that we consumed. And we really liked the Texas steakhouse atmosphere. It's a place we will definitely return to in the future.
We enjoyed a quiet meal, and the staff did an excellent job. Monica was pleasant and professional, as she served our every need. The cook prepared our meals to perfection. The Ribeye and steak fajitas were savory, juicy and completely satisfying. My wife loves their tortilla soup 🍲.
We have enjoyed dinning here over the years and the current owner has managed the restaurant very well. Although we'll probably drink water next time; $4 for unsweetened tea is a bit much.
This was our 1st visit. We went early to beat any crowd . Tatiana was our server, and she was great, very attentive.

I went here for a wedding recently, and the place was put together for nicely, the food was delicious, and the staff was very good at making sure everyone had what they needed or wanted for drinks or food.
Food is great, I recommend to order the guacamole with chips as an appetizer because your main dish would take forever to arrive. Servers are friendly but they can forget to bring your order, make a reservation in advance to guarantee a table. Place is nice. Think if is worth the drive.
My 4 stars is due to the time they take to prepare your dinner. Otherwise would be 5.

Mushrooms on the steak also! The baked potato was okay. I got shrimp add on to the steak and there wasn’t much flavor with them. Service was good! Seated quickly.

What a great restaurant. Went on Saturday evening, sat in the bar area. Live music was playing and it was perfect to go with our dinner. The servers are so sweet and fun. Oh and the Food so delicious. The guacamole is made in front of you and so yummy. The tortilla chips are made in house. We did add a little salt. The lamb chops are cooked to perfection, with the best flavor. Everything was cooked perfectly. Ask for the loaded mashed potatoes with gravy. This is our new go to restaurant.
Excellent service and ambiance. Steaks were cooked perfectly, service attentive but not overly so, dining room spacious and quiet. Definitely will return. The green Chile on the chicken Fried steak was flavorful and spicy.

I was part of a group of about 12 people who dined here. It was my first time visiting this restaurant. The service was excellent the staff were very attentive to us, and they made sure we were taken care of . I ordered a ribeye steak, and it was cooked perfect to the way I ordered it. We had several appetizers for our group, and all of them were cooked perfectly. The steak was absolutely in the top steaks I have had in a restaurant it was perfectly seasoned and had a great flavor. As we were dining, they had live music playing, and they were very good playing a wide variety of music. Towards the end of our meal, a really big party came in for what appeared to be a celebration, and just as they did for us, the staff was ready and took care of them while we were there. They're very proactive and take good care of their guests. It is a great place to come for a special dinner.
