Laredo Grill

My granddaughter and I have a "girls day out" shopping and having lunch together. I treated her to Laredo grill and she loved it! We ordered the fajita chicken quesadilla and white queso, so, so good! We were able to sit on the outside patio, as it was a beautiful fall day. The wait staff were on point with everything from drinks, chips and salsa, our entrée and even brought a to go box when it was needed without my even having to ask, the anticipate your every need! Staff is very friendly and professional. Bathrooms are clean but a little small. Food is fresh and served hot! Prices are great and compatible with others in the area. Can't wait to go back, we truly enjoyed the experience and our day out!

I’ll give the few positives first- we were seated quickly for it being 630 on a Friday (or maybe that’s a bad sign), our table was clean, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Negatives- the margaritas are small, overpriced, and the lime (regular) margarita was too sour from the lime juice to drink. So I ordered a mango margarita…and she did not even question why I wanted a different one after only a few sips…but that’s ok. The mango was better, FYI. The food was definitely sub-par. I guess it’s half Mexican and half American? We ordered cheese dip that was the consistency of paste and had little flavor. I had a cheeseburger and my husband had the fried fish. My burger reminded me of what is served in a lunchroom at school. My husband said his fish was decent. Again, not worth the price. However, maybe we just ordered the wrong thing. Almost every single person ordered a steak of some kind with baked potatoes and salads….so maybe that’s what we did wrong? My advice is to order a steak and drink something other than a margarita :)

Underwhelming. One star is for atmosphere, and the other one is for friendly staff. Queso was just ok. Steak & shrimp fajitas weren’t good. Meat tasted boiled with no seasoning. House frozen margarita tasted like cheap mix with a wang. Mango margarita on-the-rocks didn’t taste like mango. Maybe like weak tea? Guacamole tasted watered down. If they would step it up on the taste of the food, it’d be a great place because the atmosphere & location are great. But the food definitely wasn’t worth the price.
