Masala Cottage Restaurant

What to say? Well the staff is great and the food is amazing for the price! The amount of samosas is a surprise and found out they are going for the world record on number of types and sizes! The restaurant is clean and the water from here is not like typical places in California. The only thing that sucks is parking, since it is very tight. They also serve food at Old Town on the weekends.

Found a piece of hard plastic, from a bowl perhaps, in my food which is completely unacceptable. This place has good flavors, but is never consistent when it comes to spice-level. (The rice was made by me but the curry was made by masala cottage.) Owner tried to call me a liar but I can guarantee I would have no reason to like about such a dangerous situation like that. Note that the owner called thier own food ugly.(This is the Bangan Bhartha 16oz ordered on Dec 22 via door dash.)

Ive had Indian food all over san Diego, and i have a few favorite places but I was looking for something new because I moved to the area. First time trying this place, the dish that I ordered was a dish i typically order as a tester to see if it's good. It was a strange color, (too much annato or food coloring)and very bland. It was overpriced. Honestly , the frozen Indian food from Trader Joe's is a lot better than here. I hate to be so blunt about it, I honestly wish the best for this place. The pictures looked so good but the flavor is lacking and i was very disappointed.
