Best Fish and Chips you’ll find anywhere! Worth the drive if you’re not local. Tartar sauce amazing! Crispy fries, large portion of fish with a perfect batter, cooked to perfection. I can’t say enough good things about this place. Also, tried the chowder..the best!!
If you love seafood, you must eat here! My favorite so far is the crab in the bag, a deep fried soft shelled crab with deep fried jalapeños that will leave you craving for more. I was very tempted to eat the bag itself.
Their lobster roll was amazing (perfectly cooked lobster, not too much dressing, bread was spot on) and the accompanying fries were perfect (crunchy on the inside and soft and cream in the middle). So glad that we finally have a fish monger in Edmonds!
Seafood stew and fish tacos were excellent! Will definitely be back to eat my way through the menu. Can dine in or take out which is great. Plenty of fresh seafood options to take home as well!
Without a doubt, the best Fish n’ Chips. Ever. Great place. Worth a trip to Edmonds.
Came in for the soft opening , and even though they ran out of some fish, I have to say it’s an overall good sign. I ended up paying a little more for the mahi-mahi but it was freaking worth it. All the ingredients married well together. I’m in absolute love!!!
Thanks for bringing a boutique size seafood extravaganza to Edmonds!! You will stay busy for sure - wow.
Wonderful spot, with all the offerings you would expect and more (great wines inside, too!). Love that you can have your fish from the case prepared for dinner and pick up on the way home. Welcome to town!
I am a Brit who has lived in the US for 32 years..... forever in search of authentic Fish and Chips. I have been quite accustomed to disappointment in that regard, until recently..... the Nosh Food Truck and now Mar-Ket that I am delighted to see open up in Edmonds, where I live. I am happy to report that this is as good as it gets. They need to work on their mushy peas (the much maligned, disrespected and hugely misunderstood side dish to fish and chips.... I guess you have to grow up with mushy peas to understand exactly what they are), but Mar-Ket gets my two thumbs up for everything else!
Simply fantastic. I'm really excited to have this place so close to home.
Amazing food and the team is just wonderful. Great new place and will be back soon
We had the specials today and the food was delicious! Thank you!
Yummm!!!! And such friendly folks!! I’m SO excited you are open! And since I live two blocks away, super happy you’re open until 9:00pm. Wow!!
Amazing food, amazing Edmonds and amazing people
Delicious as expected knowing what this team has created to date (SnI/Bar Dojo/Shooby Doo Catering). Can’t wait to try more and I love the creative idea for Edmonds!!
Everything good. And Hunniwater!!!
The food here is phenomenal! Love that the rolls are served warm and not cold. I actually preferred the crab roll over the lobster but you really can’t go wrong with either. Chowder + sour dough bread = best combo ever. Pricey but so worth it.
The seafood sandwiches at The Market are outstanding. We ordered the shrimp roll, crab roll, and a Connecticut style lobster roll. The lobster roll was better than most lobster rolls I’ve eaten in New England. The shrimp roll was outstanding. The crab roll was good, but a little dry. The regular French fries were exceptional, the garlic fries were ok, but I’d suggest the regular. The servers were friendly and the service was amazing. If you’re in the area you must try The Market for the lobster rolls.
First time trying a lobster roll and I was impressed! So glad I finally got to try the market! They actually have a nice outdoor seating. The food came out pretty fast and looked amazing. The lobster roll was delicious, so much flavor. The crab in a bag was better than I thought, definitely meaty! I’d come back!
MARKET definitely hit the spot.
This tasty spot is in Edmonds is definitely a treat. They are currently only seating outdoors (order everything with the host then grab a table!). We went in the evening, so it was a little chilly so I’d definitely recommend bringing a jacket.
FISH N CHIPS : Crispy beer battered rock fish, fries, tartar, lemon. **It was also served with some sort of chopped pea and herb accoutrement that added a nice fresh touch! The batter was crispy and the fish was tender. Nom.
FRIED CHICKEN SANDWICH : Crispy fried chicken breast on a brioche bun with lettuce, tomato, house made pickles and garlic chili aioli, served with fries. **The chicken was so tender and satisfying. The sauce that came on the side was a nice chili spiced sauce. We wished the pickles were a little more tangy, but still tasty.
We can’t wait to come back to try the crab or lobster roll!
I only ordered one small Connecticut lobster roll with light butter and the size is more like a half sandwich. A little bit over priced but the taste is not bad. Hope they can open an option of only lobster roll without fries in future.
They have 2 choices of lobster rolls and we ordered the warm one. It tastes so good! They have plenty of outside seatings so don’t worry about getting a seat.
I also really like their fries. It is crispy outside and soft inside. It comes with the roll so recommend it!
This town has very beautiful view so it worths a visit and eat lobster roll.
Really enjoyed dungeon crab roll and fish tacos. Dungeon crabmeat was flavorful and warm sandwich. You must try them if you are here :)
