Moni's Pasta And Pizza

Easily has my favorite pizza (bacon, pepperoni and served extra crispy), Pasta and other items are also very good and they have rolls that are rockin'. Can be a little pricey but I think it's worth every penny. It really doesn't get much better than Moni's as far as Italian food goes for that segment of OKC and Edmond.

Overall the experience was good. The crab stuffed mushrooms are amazing. Must must must try. The Italian egg soup was really good also. Had the calamari also and it was good but could be better (more crunch?). The pasta dish we had was on the bland side. Had to add salt and other seasonings to it when we took it home. Not sure if it was a bad day or what but won't be ordering it again. Good local business to give a try and support. Very cozy and good date atmosphere also.

It was a cold first impression for us as last Friday night. My best friend had invited my pregnant wife and I to his wife's birthday dinner. They had made reservations for the 4 of us at 7:30pm. When we arrived they told us they weren't able to make our reservations and sat us outside on their side patio. Because there were no available tables inside but we were told that as soon as a table opened up they would move us inside. It was mid-50s and chilly outside and none of us were dressed to be seated outside for dinner. There were a few outdoor heaters but they were on the opposite side from where we were sat. We ordered mozzarella sticks and they came out cold in the center and had to be sent back and brought out for a second time. We asked several times throughout the meal to be seated inside but never got any help with that. The rolls and salad we're good. My pregnant wife and I split the large supreme pizza and it was good. I ordered a beer and it was as cold as we were. The couple we went with our big fans of the place and I think that's why they continued to stick it out that night and stay for the meal instead of going to another Italian restaurant. Otherwise we would have just left. But as for my wife and I, we will not return. Not after seating a 6-month pregnant woman outside in the cold when we had reservations and when there were open tables inside when we left. This is poor customer service and I would either like my money back or a gift card to possibly give this restaurant a second chance.

This restaurant is a wonderful place to have a date night. They offer a nice assortment of beer and wine and the menu has all of the expected dishes. The last time I was there I went with the arrabiatta orchiette (pardon my spelling) and I loved it. We shared a vegan pizza as an appetizer. My favorite part is that they don't rush you out of there. I'll definitely be back.
